Affection of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un associated with the swimming complex of Kim Il Sung University

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"The teachers and researchers of Kim Il Sung University are career revolutionaries who are training the hard core of the revolution, world-class talents."

On December 11, 2009, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who accompanied Chairman Kim Jong Il to the swimming complex of Kim Il Sung University, asked an official about emergency first-aid measures at the swimming pool.

Upon hearing the official's answer that the treatment room located in the wading pool section was not yet fully installed with necessary equipment, he told him with a grave face to provide it without fail with the first-aid equipment including artificial respiration as already instructed by the Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Even at the moment when the teaching staff and students of the university were enjoying themselves at the good swimming pool, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un thought first of unexpected emergencies and remembered the instruction of the Chairman.

It was not all.

After a while, he went up to the diving tower as instructed by the Chairman.

In fact, the diving tower was the best one of its kind set up according to the measure taken by Chairman. He had been very sorry to see that there was no diving tower while visiting the completed swimming complex of the university on March 19 that year.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un came down from the 7.5-metre diving tower to the 5-metre diving tower to estimate the depth of water under the tower.

Upon hearing from the official that the water was 4.2 metres deep, he asked him if a diver might touch the bottom of the pool on jumping from the 7.5-metre tower. Only after hearing his answer that such a thing would never happen did he wear a satisfactory and relieved smile on his face.
