The respected ComradeKim Jong Un shows warm affection and favour to the university, always keeping in mind the lifetime wishes of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman

Kim Jong Il who spared nothing for the lecturers and students of Kim Il Sung University.

He provided meticulous guidance for the building of the modern e-library on Ryongnam Hill and the wonderful indoor swimming pool for the university.

In addition, he sent a huge sum of funds and modern educational facilities and sporting apparatuses to the university in order to provide it with world-level educational conditions and environment as was intended by the great leaders.

He ensured that splendid apartment houses were built in the best place near the picturesque Ryonghung Crossroads to present them to its lecturers and researchers as gifts.

He provided detailed guidance over the whole process of construction project, visiting the construction site on two occasions. We can develop science and technology of the country when we treat lecturers and researchers preferentially, he said, adding that there is nothing to spare for those at Kim Il Sung University.

He personally brought sets of bowls to the houses on the day when the completion ceremony was held and ensured that every house was furnished with an LCD TV set and a full set of furniture including mirror. This fully demonstrates his great loving care for the educators of the university.

Kim Jong Un is now translating into reality the lifetime desires of the President and the Chairman who poured heart and soul to make the university the best in the world. The proud history of the university goes on steadily, conveying his noble fidelity to the great leaders.
