Esteemed Your Excellency Kim Jong Un

It is our great honour to present this letter to Your Excellency the respected Comrade of the Korean People successfully closing the international symposium hosted by the prestigious Kim Il Sung University in great expectations and interests of the scholars of different universities of the world.

This symposium under the theme of "Development of Science and Building of Highly Civilized Nation" has provided a significant opportunity to further promote the exchanges and relations of friendship and cooperation between various universities of the world and Kim Il Sung University desirous of making active contributions to the building of highly civilized nations by enhancing the leading role of science in the era of knowledge-based economy.

We extend our boundless reverence for Your Excellency Kim Jong Un who saw to it that this auspicious international symposium was held so that the scholars of different universities of the world and Kim Il Sung University could promote the friendly ties and feelings in their effort for the building of a genuine civilized society of mankind in the 21st century.

All the participants are expressing their satisfaction with the success of this symposium held at the time when the Korean people have significantly commemorated the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation and are showing great enthusiasm in their effort to greet the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea as a grand event to be specially recorded in the history of Korea.

All the participants expressed their determination to promote the civilized development of mankind with science and technology and further expand many-sided exchanges and cooperation between different universities of the world and the prestigious Kim Il Sung University.

During our stay in Pyongyang, we have witnessed that the resourceful Korean people are building a civilized socialist country with the might of latest science and technology for the world to see under the outstanding leadership of Your Excellency Kim Jong Un, and could have a firm conviction about the bright future of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

We have shared a common view that it is highly profitable for the development of science of mankind and the building of highly civilized nations to have brisk scientific exchanges with Kim Il Sung University with great scientific potentialities.

Based on the success and experience of this symposium, we will, in the future, make active efforts to promote all-round exchanges and cooperation with Kim Il Sung University.

We sincerely wish Your Excellency Kim Jong Un good health and happiness for the successful building of a civilized socialist nation in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and for the promotion of further exchanges and cooperation of friendship between different universities of the world and Kim Il Sung University.
