Kim Il Sung University Fund was established.
Kim Il Sung University is the central base of leading education and scientific research in universities of the DPRK and is making great contributions to the civilization of humanity, social progress and to the joint development of education and science of mankind in the 21st century through various exchanges and cooperation with higher educational institutions of various countries of the world.
Kim Il Sung University Fund aims to encourage financial and material assistance to the education and scientific research of the university among non-governmental organizations and institutions, overseas Koreans and individual persons in various countries.
The Fund will respect the voluntary will of donors.
The Council of Kim Il Sung University will issue certificates to donors, widely publicize them in various ways and organize tour of scenic spots in the DPRK.
In the past many foreigners and overseas Koreans who studied at Kim Il Sung University and non-governmental organizations and institutions of various countries which visited the university have made donations to the university with their desire for the development of the university and under the noble ideal of making contributions to the civilization of humanity and social progress through concerted efforts.
Kim Il Sung University extends deep thanks to the them once again on the occasion of the establishment of the Fund and expresses its hope for positive donations to the Fund.
