The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un gave thanks to the officials, teachers and researchers of Kim Il Sung University who made contributions to building mushroom production base

The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the General Secretary of our Party and people, visited the newly-built Pyongyang Municipal Mushroom Farm on January 9, Juche104(2015), despite his heavy schedule of energetically leading the entire army and people in their efforts to greet the 70^th anniversaries of national liberation and the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) as revolutionary auspicious events.

Expressing his great satisfaction over the fact that the farm has a high industrial and intensive production system and is equipped with all facilities necessary for growing mushrooms, he gave thanks to the officials, teachers and researchers of the university in the name of the central committee of the WPK.

True to the behests of President Kim Il Sung and General

Kim Jong Il and in order to implement the respected Marshal's far-reaching plan to turn our country into a land of mushrooms, a research team of the university undertook a project in building the farm from the late August of Juche 102(2013) to the beginning of Juche 104(2015).

They took in charge of the whole process design and building work, completed the processes of growing mushroom substrata, inoculating mushroom spores, cultivating mushrooms and materialized the asepsis of the production process. They set up a computer-aided integrated production system in a new way, applied a new production method by alternative substrata. They also designed and developed a software "Bullocho", handbook on mushrooms, thus making contributions to the spread of scientific and technological information to the officials, technicians and workers.

All the officials, teachers and researchers of the university who received the thanks of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un are now full of great enthusiasm to achieve valuable research successes conducive to the economic development of the country and the improvement of people's living standard in this meaningful year by dynamically waging the campaign to push back the frontiers of latest science and technology.
