Ma Song Su and Kim Myong Hui, Researchers in Faculty of Life Science of Kim Il Sung University, Win Medal and Diplomas for Inventors of World Intellectual Property Organization

Ma Song Su was awarded with WIPO medal and diploma for inventors and Kim Myong Hui, WIPO diploma for inventors in the National Exhibition for Inventions and New Technologies in celebration of 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea and Korea's liberation, which was held in Three-Revolution Exhibition Hall from July 28 to August 6, 2015.

WIPO, one of the international organizations under the UN, was established in 1967 and aims to protect intellectual property rights and encourage cooperation between countries in the matters concerning intellectual property.

WIPO awards the medal to inventors of new technologies, after deliberating the inventions and new technologies highly appreciated in each country every year.

After 14-year-long strenuous researches and efforts, Ma Song Su and Kim Myong Hui succeeded in developing a health food "flax-bean nutrition capsule" and introduced it to Breast Cancer Institute of Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and other units.

The capsule is based on scientific solution to the cause of mastopathy for the first time in the world and designed to attack every link of it. As it is manufactured into health food which is easy to take, its value is being highly appreciated in the field of public health and medical science.

Mastopathy takes the greatest proportion of the diseases of women in the world and is one of the diseases difficult to cure and easy to develop into cancer.

Health food "flax-bean nutrition capsule" entirely depending on our own wisdom, technology and material is gaining great popularity as it is cheap and great in curative effect. Also abundant is the raw material for its production.

It has so far recorded 90% curative effect in breast diseases, peculiar effects in curing other diseases and no side effects. Ma and Kim obtained the patent of the DPRK in September Juche 98(2009) and won gold medals in the 13th National Exhibition for Inventions and New Technologies in August Juche 103(2014).

Ma Song Su was selected as one of the top-10 inventors of the DPRK in 2014 by the National Invention Bureau.

His achievement is the brilliant fruition that he cherished General Kim Jong Il's autograph letter "Keep your feet firmly planted on this land and look out over the world: be reliable supports of the Songun revolution possessed of a lofty spirit and rich knowledge: redouble your efforts to make the great Party and Kim Il Sung's Korea admired by the world", as his life motto and strenuously conducted his research, despite repeated failures and overcoming difficulties and hardships with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of blizzards of Paektu.

This achievement is greatly inspiring the educators, researchers, and students of Kim Il Sung University to the struggle to carry out the behests of the leaders and implement the ideas of the Party.
