Letter to the Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un written by Participants of DPRK-Russia Friendship Symposium

We are honored to present this letter to Your Excellency Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, First Chairman of the DPRK National Defense Commission.

Your Respected Excellency

We are honored to present this letter to Your Excellency, the Supreme Leader of the Korean people at the end of the successful Russia-DPRK Friendship Symposium held in the prestigious Kim Il Sung University under the great expectation and concern of the educators and experts in Korean and Russian languages.

This symposium held under the theme of "Education in Korean and Russian Languages at Kim Il Sung University and Universities of Russian Federation" has been a gathering of significance that helped to strengthen and develop education and scientific research in Korean and Russian languages into a new and higher stage and that helped to further develop friendly exchanges and cooperation between Russian universities including Moscow Lomonosov State University and Far Eastern Federal University and Kim Il Sung University.

We are obliged to express our boundless reverence to Your Respected Excellency, Kim Jong Un who has provided a meaningful symposium for Korean languages educators and experts of Russia to strengthen the bonds and feelings of friendship, exchange and cooperation with Korean and Russian languages educators and experts of Kim Il Sung University through the exchange of valuable achievements and experiences gained in Russian and Korean languages education.

All the participants have expressed their great satisfaction at the successful outcome of the symposium held under the theme of the development of Russian and Korean languages education between the universities of Russia and Kim Il Sung University in such a significant year when the Korean people are striving to glorify the 70th anniversaries of national liberation and founding of the Workers' Party of Korea as revolutionary, auspicious events and when the Russian people have auspiciously celebrated the 70th anniversary of victory in their Great Fatherland War and when it is the Year of Russia-DPRK Friendship.

We have expressed our firm resolution to actively contribute to the development of friendly relations between Russia and the DPRK and to the development of multilateral exchanges and cooperation between the universities of Russia and Kim Il Sung University by further strengthening and developing Russian and Korean languages education.

Korean languages educators and experts at the universities of Russia have eye-witnessed and been encouraged by the struggle of the brave Korean people who are vigorously advancing towards a socialist civilized country creating "Korea Speed" startling to the world under the outstanding leadership of Your Respected Excellency, Kim Jong Un even under such complicated situation being true to the instructions left by the President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, Chairman of the DPRK National Defense Commission, the eternal leaders of the Korean people, and haven been firmly convinced of the bright future of Korea.

The participants shared the common belief that active academic exchanges between the universities of Russia and Kim Il Sung University play a significant role in constantly strengthening and developing the relations of friendship and cooperation between Russia and the DPRK which has a long history and tradition.

We will be making an active effort to further expand and intensify academic exchanges conducive to the development of friendship and cooperation between the universities of the two countries on the basis of the achievements and experiences gained from this symposium.

For the successful accomplishment of building a socialist civilized country in the DPRK and for further expanding and strengthening friendly cooperation and exchanges between the universities of Russia and Kim Il Sung University, we sincerely wish Your Respected Excellency, Kim Jong Un good health and happiness.
