Humans are experiencing a serious crisis today due to the spread of the world pandemic which brings a terrible disaster to them. The deadly virus has killed lots of people and poses a grave threat to socio-economic progress in almost all countries and regions of the world.
However, the Korean people are making enormous strides with bright faces, full of optimism about their future.
Then, what is the source of power that makes the Korean people hopeful without the slightest vacillation and pessimism? Do they have any supernatural power to protect them from the world-sweeping pandemic?
They answer proudly and confidently and the world people acknowledge that it is nothing but the outstanding leadership ability of the Workers' Party of Korea.
It is the powerful force which protects them from the widespread malignant virus that has put the whole planet in anxiety and encourages them to dynamically advance full of hope for the future.
The WPK is leading the infectious disease prevention campaign of the country to victory with great wisdom and outstanding leadership that no other party in any country can have.
By exerting far-sighted leadership ability already at the beginning of the outbreak of the epidemic, it established a powerful national emergency infectious disease prevention system and took every possible measure to prevent the inflow and spread of the malignant virus completely.
Thanks to the preemptive and timely actions the WPK has taken to prevent the infectious disease, the Korean people have led a stable life and pushed socialist construction vigorously though the pandemic spread rapidly and many people died of the disease en masse in many countries of the world.
When an unexpected event occurred in the state emergency infectious disease prevention efforts, the WPK fully demonstrated its leadership ability as the most experienced and seasoned Party.
As soon as an uncertain result was produced from a returnee suspected of being infected with COVID-19, the WPK immediately called an emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee and declared a state of emergency all over the country. It also took extraordinary measures to switch the state emergency infectious disease prevention system over to the top emergency system and issue a special class warning.
Under the wise leadership of the WPK, an intensive campaign has been conducted to implement the decision of the emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of its Central Committee. In the midst of it, the infectious disease prevention efforts have been intensified in all sectors, units, families and workplaces and a tight infectious disease prevention front has been built throughout the country.
Such brilliant wisdom and outstanding leadership ability of the WPK find its origin in its ennobling view on the people that regards the people as God and the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.
Nothing is more precious than the people, the essence of the country, and nothing is more sacred than their interests---this is the steadfast view on the people of the WPK. It has neither thought of its own existence and value apart from the destiny of the people even a moment nor discussed its activities without selfless and devoted efforts for the good of them.
Therefore, it has set it as an important task of the times to completely block the influx of the pandemic and raise the safety level even a percent higher and is leading the emergency infectious disease prevention campaign determinedly on the strength of intense love for the people.
The world people lavish praise on the people-oriented measures taken by the WPK, saying that the reality in the DPRK is a standard by which to prove whether each country serves for the health of the people or the economic interests of the rulers who have amassed capital.
The ongoing infectious disease prevention campaign clearly demonstrates to the world the WPK's ennobling view on the people in which making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people is taken as the mode of its existence and the source of its invincible power and its people-friendly leadership feature of taking responsible care of their destiny invariably and selflessly to the last in any adversity.
The outstanding leadership ability of the WPK which is enhanced on the basis of the incomparably ennobling view on the people, is indeed the source of great power that firmly defends the destiny of the people against all disasters and threats in the world.
The deadly virus kills many people across the world today, causing growing anxiety and fear with each passing day.
But the Korean people know no anxiety and vacillation.
They will be happy forever as they are led by the WPK that firmly defends and takes warm care of all people's lives.
