"Indeed, Kim Il Sung was the great leader of the revolution, the benevolent father of the people and a peerlessly great man admired by everyone whose equal has never been recorded in history."
President Kim Il Sung was the father of people, a great man born with a noble love and firm faith in people. The world has never seen such a peerless patriot and father of people as President Kim Il Sung who embroidered the arduous journey of the revolution with ardent love for the fatherland and people and noble devotion.
President Kim Il Sung was a great father of people who led the revolution and construction to victory by believing in people and relying on them all his life.
Revolutionaries are ever-victorious when believing in people and relying on them but they never win when abandoned by people. This was the principle that President Kim Il Sung held fast to throughout his life. He led the revolution and construction by enlisting the strength and creative wisdom of people.
He, who had the strongest faith in people, always went deep among people and found out good methods to advance the revolution along the road of victory.
President Kim Il Sung found the worth of life and the secrets of victory in believing in people and relying on them, always established the lines and policies reflecting the people's idea and desire and solved all the problems arising in the revolution and construction by mobilizing the popular masses.
Agrarian Reform Law was issued reflecting the century-long desire of peasants and the original policy of the socialist cooperative reorganization of agriculture was set forth to meet the demands and desire of people. Juche-oriented farming method was the one created by the energetic activities of President Kim Il Sung who entirely believed in people and relied on them in dealing with all problems. He regarded people as heaven, which can be found in the popular policies introduced in the country: the country is named the Democratic People's Republic of Korea after people. The army is named the Korean People's Army after people as well. The Grand People's Study House, the People's Palace of Culture and many other monumental constructions are all named after people.
President Kim Il Sung always overcame the difficulties of the revolution relying on the strength of popular masses, which was the consistent principle he held fast to since the early years of his revolutionary activities.
The Korean revolution has advanced along the road of victory without any ups and downs or a tread despite many stern trials, which is entirely attributed to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung who believed in people and relied on their strength. During the fatherland liberation war, he foresaw the final victory listening to a woman Party member from Ragwon brimming with faith and even when the factionists attacked the Party openly in the post-war years, he muster up courage from the sincere words of an old woman from the countryside and decisively frustrated their maneuvers.
As the Party and people were guided by President Kim Il Sung who always overcame difficulties by believing in the popular masses and relying on their strength, we successfully managed to carry out the postwar rehabilitation tasks and achieve great successes in the socialist revolution and construction, thus building a dignified independent, self-reliant and self-defended socialist state.
The tireless efforts of President Kim Il Sung who made all those achievements in the struggle for the victory of revolution and construction are inscribed in the long on-the-spot guidance course.
President Kim Il Sung gave field guidance ceaselessly to meet people in fair weather or foul saying that it was people who gave him courage and faith and encouraged him in the difficult times of the revolution and who gave him wisdom and methods to lead the revolution to victory. In his field guidance course is a narrow pathway to a far away mountain village, a road to the front where a gun report echoes through the air and a rainy muddy road. In this course, he spent many national holidays and even his birthday when he should have enjoyed the blessings of the people. He continued his field guidance relieving his fatigue by witnessing the pleasant life of people and finding his pleasure in their happiness, which gave affectionate influence on every part of the country and all corners of people's life. His field guidance days for the prosperity of the fatherland and the happiness of people were the glorious ones for leading the popular masses to ceaselessly working miracles and making renovations and were the proud routine that achieved the prosperity of the fatherland and provided people with happiness.
In the history are recorded many great men famous for high moral repute and outstanding characters. However, history has never seen such a great father of people as President Kim Il Sung who devoted his whole life to the sacred cause of people by believing in the people and relying on their strength.
President Kim Il Sung was a benevolent father of people with a noble love for people and devoted service spirit for people.
He regarded it as a political creed that a revolution is in essence to flourish the love for people, which is because his great heart were pulsating with warm love for people all his life, his thought was day and night leading to an idea to provide people with much happier life and his heart and soul was contributed to the prosperous development of the fatherland and the eternal prosperity of coming generations. His love for people was a benevolent one that shone the most valuable political life of people and was a devoted love that could pluck a star out of heavens.
President Kim Il Sung, as he had the ardent love for people, braved the life-or-death crisis and bloody battles and won victory in the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle thus liberating the Korean people from the destiny of colonial slaves and opening a bright road of building a new democratic state.
During the difficult times after the liberation when even one ton of steel was so valuable as gold, he ordered to explode away the furnace of Songjin Steel Works saying that a factory that harms workers' health is worthless however much benefit it might bring.
History witnessed the times when capitalists threw products away into the sea or destroyed machines for money, for more profit, but has never known that one whole workshop was exploded away for people, for the health and life of workers.
President Kim Il Sung did not stop mapping out a scheme for people and continued to travel the road of devotion until the last days of his life to provide people with wealthier and happier life.
His cordial love is imbued in all the places where people live and in all the creation for people. Everywhere in the DPRK can be heard a story about the love of President Kim Il Sung, can be found a workplace or a house he visited and a souvenir photo taken together with him. He always gave people affectionate love and warm affection and spend every moment of his life to provide people with happier life. Here is a part of a song lyric that the Korean people sang the ardent love and devotion of President Kim Il Sung:
The leader put the people to sleep in happiness.
And set out on a trip to take care of the nation.

Leader, leader, the night is far advanced now.
Indeed, our-own style socialism, where people are the master of the country, everything serves people and the interests and demands of people are given the highest priority and are regarded as absolute, is invaluable gains of the Korean revolution achieved by President Kim Il Sung who believed in the people as heaven and embroidered the history of love and devotion for people.
