The machine-tool multiplying movement takes significant place in Korean revolution. This is revolutionary and powerful mass movement that when the President Kim Il Sung saw the self-made machine made by working class in small local mill, he led this movement to flare up in the whole country and is still kept in the heart of Korean people.
One day in March 1959, the President Kim Il Sung visited the then small flax textile mill in Kyongsong County in North Hamgyong Province and highly appreciated the own-made air hammer and lathe. Looking at the all-purpose lathe which is still on the way of assembling, he said that it is courageous and brave one multiplying machine tools by its own with some old cutting tools, and added that this mill had won over the mysticism about technology under the Party's call and that the machine-tool multiplying movement should be widely waged taking examples of this mill.
The President Kim Il Sung discovered the spirit of the movement in small local mill and flared up the flames of the machine-tool multiplying movement as the movement of the revolutionary mass.

He also highly praised the success achieved by the members of squad No.7 of Ryongyang Mine for their massive heroism that all members became innovators, agitators of people reform and nature remaking. The massive heroism spread in whole mine and country was a great flame of massive revolutionary movement stroke by the President.
Indeed, the wise leadership of the President that brought about a great change in whole country by flaring up the flames of struggle from a spark has been engraved in the history of Juche Korea and will shine forever with the socialist Korea, the country of heroes and miracle.
