The plant growth regulators "Jung San No.1 and No.2" are dialkyl-1-hydroxyalkylphosphonate compounds and act as the pyruvic acid dehydrogenation enzyme inhibitors to have the unique characteristics of plant growth regulating activity.
Each has its own main content: "Jung san No.1" has di (2-chloroethyl)-1-hydroxyethylphosphonate and "Jung san No.2" has diethyl-1-hydroxyethylphosphonate.
The useful concentrations of "Jung san No.1" and "Jung san No.2" are 2~10ppm and they are used as the seed processing and foliar nutrition.
The most important character of "Jung San No.1 and No.2" is shortening of the growing period, accelerating the senility and increasing the per jongbo grain yield.
