The Work for the Rising Generations is the Most Important One that can never be Conceded

Love for the rising generations is the foundation of existence of a country and boundless driving force for the development of the country. If a country did not love the rising generations nor took care of the coming generations, it would have no future.

Only when the rising generations are brought up into the reliable pillars that can succeed to the generation of the revolution and of the country, not only the gains of the revolution gained with blood and sweat can shine brilliantly but also the existence and development of the country can be guaranteed. It is true that it requires a lot of efforts to bring up the coming generations. However, if it was regarded as the work that could be done depending on the conditions, neither dynamic advance nor everlasting prosperity of the country could be guaranteed.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is invincible socialist power that puts forward the rearing of the rising generations as the most important one and advances to the prosperity with ardent love for them as the driving force.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"The work for the rising generations is the most important one of the Workers' Party of Korea."

The Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK always have put forward the work for the rising generations as the most primary one and the priority of all national priorities and devoted all their special energies to it although the vast task of struggle was raised and a lot of urgent revolutionary jobs came to the fore as time-pressing assignments. It is the mode of revolution and the mode of development of the WPK and the DPRK that they put the whole mind to the rising generations and stoutly advance to the future of communism with the power of love no matter how difficult it may be and whatever hard it may be.

First of all, the work for the rising generations is the most important one to embody brilliantly the noble outlook of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the rising generations.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it was genuine patriotism to make the rising generations share in the benefit although one may not share in the benefit in his lifetime. This saying comprehensively expresses the noble outlook on the coming generations of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards it as true patriotism to devote his sweat and enthusiasm for the sake of the rising generations and believes that everything should be done perfectly on the highest level for the future of his motherland.

A revolution is the struggle for the future. Those who take noble outlook on the rising generations that they wish nothing only if the coming generations can share in the benefit although they may tighten up their belts and who devote their strength and wisdom completely in the viewpoint of serving the coming generations even though they may do one thing are called genuine patriots.

Looking back on the vast history of the development of human races and looking around the world arena today, the only country that shoulders the responsibility of and takes care of the children is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It is the firm position of the WPK and the DPRK government condensed in every policy for the rising generations that whatever may be wished by them and whatever may be necessary for them, it should be turned into reality; however a star in the sky may be wanted by them, it should be pulled down without any condition.

The true image of the WPK and the government of the republic that have defended and made full bloom the bright smiles of the coming generations over the decade can be felt not only from the childcare policy to supply all the children across the country with dairy products and other protective goods free of charge but also from the orphanages, baby homes, primary and secondary schools for orphans and camps built in every nook and corner of the country. How the Party and the government regard and approach the work for the rising generations is clearly proved by the fact that the problems for them are discussed as the major agenda in the important meetings of the Party and the government.

The respected General Secretary, whose heart is always burning with the ardent wish to give the children more whatever one thing it may be, personally counted on his handbook how much the annual consumption of fish can be in amount in order to feed every orphan all over the country with fish of three hundred grams a day. He volunteered to be a member of the party cell of the important department in charge of the work of orphanages and nursery schools rather than any other party cell and to take on the most sacred and the solemnest party assignments of his own accord.

The country was still feeling the lack of many supplies and was faced with the vast work to do, so the state funds felt more important than those at any other time, but the epochal steps were taken so that the professional factories for production of school uniforms, bags and shoes for the sake of the schoolchildren and the students should be built to meet the provincial demand in every province, and the production and supply of school uniforms, bags and shoes were powerfully pushed forward as an undertaking involving the entire Party and the whole country. These events could be determined and implemented only by the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK that nominate the work for the rising generations as the most important policy.

In the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee that discussed the item for the implementation of the socialist policy for the schoolchildren as a single agenda, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the work for our schoolchildren is a political work guaranteeing the rosy future of the country before it is an economic and practical work and the children's bright laugh is just a symbol of the socialist system and the image of Korean-style socialism. He earnestly requested all officials to further enhance their sense of responsibility and role in the important revolutionary work that our Party takes all pains by maintaining the feature and fulfilling the sacred duty of a genuine revolutionary.

The true image of the DPRK where the rising generations are reared as the king of the country, free from any kind of worry and grown up happily cannot be imagined in the capitalist countries.

In this world, some countries have their sovereignty ruthlessly trampled down as they have no power to defend themselves. In those countries, the children are made the first victims of the vortex of war.

If the WPK and the government of the DPRK had been intent on overcoming the troubles with the standpoint that it would be satisfactory for them to live well only in the present generations, they would not have achieved the miraculous events and successes admired by the whole world like today. The main key to those successes created by the DPRK enduring every hardship lies in the love for the rising generations.

The measures for the rising generations taken by the WPK and the government of the DPRK are not taken based on excessive funds or materials. It is the peculiar calculation method of the WPK and the government of the DPRK that the loss suffered for the sake of the coming generations is not a loss and the more funds may be expended, the brighter the future of the country will be. The very outlook of the WPK and the government of the republic on the rising generations that the rising generations rather than the present generations should share in benefit is the nutriment and the vitamins that keep every face of the children beamed with everlasting joy of happiness.

In the next place, the work for the rising generations is the most important one directly linked with the destiny of socialism.

The history has recorded several examples of the countries that had exercised their strong influences over the world in their generations but had been on a headlong rush to their decay and ruin because they failed to solve the problem of preparing the new generations properly. The country and the nation that are only intent on the immediate gains but ignore the education of the rising generations cannot realize any ideal and lose her dignity and position as the years go by. History shows that only the country that attaches great importance to the work of bringing up the rising generations sane and firm on mental, moral and physical line above everything else can accomplish everlasting prosperity.

Having secured the foundations of socialism so that the sound of singing and laughing of the children should resound forever not only today but also from generations to generations amid the unprecedented hardships and trials is the most distinguished exploits achieved by the respected General Secretary for the sake of his motherland, people and the rising generations.

During the days when he took the helm of the intense life-and-death struggle to defend the dignity of his fatherland, people and the rising generations, the respected General Secretary said that he could not take a break even for a moment whenever he was conscious of the heavy responsibility that he was in charge of the safety of his people and the security of his rising generations and he would not stop even for a moment on his journey he had set off until he provided the guarantee of safety for his people and descendants that would remain unthreatened for thousands of years and he would be neither broken off nor fallen down on that way.

It is the steadfast viewpoint of the WPK and the government of the republic that the children, the new generations who would shoulder the socialist country in the future should be well fed and grown up under the good condition. Only when the improved condition for nurture and education are provided for the children and pupils, the society will be full of vibrant animation and vitality further and the future of the socialist fatherland will be firmly guaranteed.

The lofty will of the Workers' Party of Korea to guarantee everything for the sake of the new generation is also implied in the educational work, the far-sighted patriotic work.

Not only the biggest policy such as the enforcement of the universal 12-year compulsory education was adopted as the law of the republic but also the idea to guarantee the future by the dint of education was put forward and the measures were taken to improve the structure of the education of the country so that it could provide advanced education and to decisively convert the education of the country in the direction of bringing up all the pupils and students into the competent talents acquiring versatile knowledge and high level of cultural attainments in the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee. And the Teacher-Training College of Pyongyang was built into the teacher-training institution realized on a high level of scientific, informative and modernized foundation. These measures can never be dreamed of apart from the will and determination of the WPK and the government of the republic that intend to bring up the rising generations under the best educational condition and environment and to prepare them as competent revolutionary talents.

The scene that all the Korean people were deeply impressed with tearfully in August in 2024 is the image of happiness unfolded by the ardent love of their benevolent father who keeps the absolute creed that even a star in the sky should be pulled down for the sake of the rising generations.

Although he had a lot of state affairs to deal with, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took benevolent measures for the country to take charge and care of the pupils from the disaster-stricken areas, and saying that the nursing, upbringing and educating the children was the prime state affair that could never be conceded even if the sky might fall, he made the temporary classrooms prepared for them in the April 25 Hostel, where the delegates were supposed to board and lodge whenever the important conferences were held by the country.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who visited the April 25 Hostel to inspect the process of preparation of the education for the schoolchildren from the areas damaged by the flood, emphasized again and again that the educational work was an important one to succeed to the generations of the revolution and push the development of the country, and that no matter how difficult it might be, the educational work for the rising generations should not be ignored by the Party or the government even for a moment because the development of the country and the prospect of the revolution was governed by how well the coming generations would be educated and edified.

The image of the rising generations growing up without any wrinkle in their minds in such severe hardships is manifestations of the firm will of the WPK that a tiny flaw should not be allowed in the work for children, even if the other work may not be carried out.

Even though the present generation may undergo hardships, if they provide the mighty foundations for the sake of the rising generations, then, after twenty or thirty years, our society will be full of vibrant animation and vitality more and more.

The work for the rising generations backed up by the noble outlook on the coming generations of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who buries his hardships to bring the laughter of children into full bloom will be the most important one that can never be conceded forever in the work of the WPK and the government of the republic.
