A World of Loyalty Carried in a Single Tree

President Kim Il Sung said:

"Comrade Kim Jong Il is a genuine loyalist, and no one in the world can match him in loyalty to me."

Chairman Kim Jong Il, who held the President in high esteem in his lifetime and after his demise with the noblest fidelity to him, is the foremost example of loyalty.

The boundless loyalty of Chairman Kim Jong Il to President Kim Il Sung is embroidered in the stories that he regarded even a tree and grass in the garden of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall (at that time) that the President loved as the most valuable treasures and put his heart and soul into the work to transplant and cultivate them after the President's demise.

One day in early November Juche 83(1994), Chairman gave the officials precious instructions on the formation of the square of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall and told them to transplant the trees in the garden of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall to the area around the monument to the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The trees in the garden of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall were cherished the traces of the President, who had led the Korean revolution and world revolution to victory.

That is why Chairman regarded all the trees in the area of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall as precious treasures of the country.

The transplantation was carried out in hearty response to the instructions of Chairman.

Later, he learned about the transplanting of trees in the area of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall again and earnestly said that the trees in the area of the Kumsusan Assembly Hall were meaningful trees carrying the traces of President Kim Il Sung and that they should be transplanted with great care without putting any one of them to death.

And he even taught them the concrete methods to carefully transplant those trees.

Thanks to the boundless loyalty of Chairman, the trees in the Kumsusan Assembly Hall garden were moved to the surrounding area of the monument to the founding of the WPK without hurting even a single root.

The warm sincerity of Chairman, who devoted himself to preserve every young tree carrying the trace of President Kim Il Sung in its original state, is a crystal of pure loyalty that cannot be compared to anything else in the world.

These meaningful trees are still standing in green, carrying forever the noble loyalty of the Chairman to President Kim Il Sung.
