The DPRK is a Powerful Nation Advancing by dint of Love for the Rising Generations

When talking about foundations of a powerful country, people often refer to territory, resources, military forces, economic power, science, technology and so on. Needless to say, in order to become a powerful country, they should put the economic and military capabilities on a high level and take the lead in the field of science and technology. But before that they should establish love for the rising generations as a national trait first.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Our Party and the government of our Republic, true to the noble spirit of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il of loving the rising generations, will give top priority to work with them over all other affairs, and make every effort to bring our beloved Korean Children's Union members up as the happiest children in the world and excellent pillars of Songun Korea."

In the history are recorded quite a few countries that went downhill by failing to properly settle the issues arising in bringing up the rising generations even though they had exerted a powerful influence in their generation. Whether it is a country or a nation, if it is bent on the immediate profit and neglects the upbringing of the rising generations, it cannot realise any ideal but lose its dignity and position as the time goes by. History reveals that only a country that gives priority to bringing up the children into morally impeccable, sound and physically fit generation can achieve eternal prosperity.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a powerful nation that advances by dint of love for the rising generations.

The real nature of the DPRK advancing by dint of love for the rising generations is manifested in legally guaranteeing the issues arising in bringing up the rising generations.

The law is common rules of conduct promulgated by the state and its observance is guaranteed by the state power. Legalization of the issues arising in bringing up the rising generations is a manifestation of the firm will of the DPRK to bring them up better.

The 6th Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK held on September 25, Juche 101 (2012), when a new turning phase was being opened in the building of a powerful socialist country and the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, the law "On Enforcing Universal 12-year Compulsory Education" was adopted as the law of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

Education is one of the fundamental factors that decides the rise and fall of the country and guarantees the future of the nation. So it would be impossible for any country to make social progress nor achieve prosperity without the development of education. The dignity and bright future of the nation would also be inconceivable.

The DPRK was admired by the world as a country of education, a country of learning by enforcing the universal 11-year compulsory education for the first time in the world. On this land the law on enforcing the universal 12-year compulsory education was promulgated under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has the ennobling view of the younger generation and the future.

The enforcement of the universal 12-year compulsory education was a historic deed done by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is further enriching the noble idea of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il of loving younger generations. They put forward the absolute truth that the one step slowdown in education would lead to ten step slowdown of the country's advance and valued the bright future of the country, sparing nothing for the rising generations.

In the history of the DPRK, the Law of the DPRK on Childcare is also recorded as the benevolent measure for the rising generations.

At the 6th Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK held in February Juche 111(2022), the Law of the DPRK on Childcare was newly adopted.

The newly adopted law on childcare defined it as an important communist policy to convert childcare into nationwide work and bring up all the children at the expense of the state and society. Thus a legal guarantee was created for providing the children, the future of the country and precious treasure of the state, with dairy products and other nutritious foods at the expense of the state and ensuring better rearing conditions.

It is not easy for any country to legalise the issues arising in bringing up rising generations. Thanks to the WPK and the DPRK that set it as the overriding policy and desire to create the better conditions for bringing up the children whatever the cost may be, the loving code of law for the rising generations was born.

All the countries in the world have different kinds of laws, but it is only the DPRK that specially sets laws for the rising generations and carries out political work of love for the children despite such severe difficulties.

The real nature of the DPRK advancing by dint of love for the rising generations can also be found in the fact that the state takes full responsibility for the policies for the rising generations and powerfully carries out them regardless of conditions.

As a matter of fact, Korean revolution has never advanced in a smooth and peaceful way. The trials and difficulties on the road of march in the new century of Juche were all unprecedented in their arduous nature. The state is not abundant in everything yet and has to solve a lot of urgent problems. However, the WPK and the DPRK are channeling great efforts to bringing up rising generations, regarding it as the most important undertaking which cannot be neglected even a moment.

Thanks to the love of the WPK for the rising generations, baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans have been built in a modern way in Pyongyang, Wonsan and other parts of the country and bereaved children are brought up at the expense of the state.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that in the country orphans are not merely bereaved children but are sons and daughters of the WPK and the Party is blessed with a lot of sons and daughter.

In the world, every country has problems with orphans. However, only the DPRK takes care of bereaved children at the expense of the state.

Despite such severe difficulties and hardships, bag factories and Mindulle Notebook Factory were built and their operation is put on a regular basis, thus being able to supply homemade bags and notebooks to the school children. Thanks to the warm love of the WPK whose intention is to provide well-designed and smart school uniforms, all the new school children across the country are supplied with quality school uniforms and shoes of new forms. As well as this, "Haebaragi" brand school things and delicious foodstuffs are evenly provided for all the children and new pupils across the country from the capital city to the countryside including remote villages in the northern mountains, farm villages along demarcation lines and solitary islands in the East and West Sea of Korea.

Despite the increasing manoeuvers of the hostile forces to check the advance and development of the DPRK, modern schools and bases for extracurricular education have sprung up all over the country and public interest in education and enthusiasm for support is mounting day by day. All these realities would be inconceivable without the popular policy of the Party and state that give priority to bringing up the rising generations and push ahead with it.

All over the world children are subjected to hunger, conflict and flesh trade. But in the DPRK all the children are growing cheerfully and merrily without any worries, and their laughter and singing add joy and optimism to the whole country.

Thanks to the ennobling view of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un that the more difficult, the more whole mind should be put to children, and then by dint of that love, persistently marching forward to the future of communism should be the mode of advance and development of the revolution, the children are growing up to be excellent pillars of the country.

The future of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will be bright forever thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who finds the greatest joy and pleasure in the happy laughter of the rising generations and provides them with all the happiness in the world.
