On a drizzling day in July, 2001, the Chairman
It was indeed as beautiful as a picture.
Enjoying the beautiful scenery, he was so satisfied and delighted that he said such an enchanted land of socialism in Poman-ri was none other than the utopia of the era of the WPK.
He also visited the ex-soldier farmer couple who had newly moved in.
Studying the every household issue, he felt regret at the absence of electric heating and electric rice-cooker although there were switches in the kitchen.
He also said to the officials that they had to build more efficient power stations so that everybody could use electricity to cook rice. Also he warmly told the couple to write a letter to him when they could cook rice with electricity rice-cooker thanks to the realization of electrification.
He instructed earnestly to plant various kinds of crops essential for the living in the family garden and to put up a nameplate at the gate to identify. He also took a souvenir photograph with their whole family.
Their hearts were beating by leaps and bounds admiring the Chairman who visited them in the early morning and bestowed such favors on them who had not made meritorious deeds nor had not become the famous labor innovators.
The Chairman required earnestly once again to write a letter to him when they could cook rice with electricity rice-cooker warmly grasping the hands of the couple who felt loath to part.
Two months later, the couple wrote the letter to the Chairman with the great pleasure and gratitude that they could cook rice with the electricity rice-cooker thanks to the realization of the electrification.
The Chairman sent benevolent autographic reply letter to them.
"Thank you for sending me the good news
October 10, 2001"
This autographic reply letter is packed with overcautious enthusiasm and emotion of benevolent father who finds his pleasure in the happiness of our people and warm request to transform their villages into the enchanted land of socialism.
