The Korean people have a common desire.
Whoever he is, whether he is on the northern side of the country or on a remote island post, anyone living in this country has an ardent desire with much care.
It is to meet the respected General Secretary nearest even only once and wish to stay with him for a long time.
That is why at that moment when we met the respected General Secretary, all the people of the DPRK used to be nervous of going nearer to him without distinction of age or sex, and wished to see him longer at the moment of parting from him, followed him and rushed into the cold water without hesitation until they could see his car.
It was the night of May15, 2022 when the people who cherished this ardent wish hesitated to approach him and were annoyed that they were guilty of holding him long.
That was one of the days when the epidemic spread in our country became serious.
At a consultative meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held again that day, the issue of reviewing the overall anti-epidemic situation after the state anti-epidemic system was switched to the maximum emergency anti-epidemic system and promptly rectifying the deviations in the supply of medicines was discussed. At the meeting, the respected General Secretary issued a special order of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea to immediately stabilize the supply of medicines in Pyongyang by introducing strong forces in the field of military medicine, and personally visited the pharmacies in Pyongyang on the way of closing the meeting.
On May 15, when all the people across the country shed tears of sadness, accompanied by the respected General Secretary heading for the pharmacy, met him and heard the news of him.
All the people of the country who were fighting anti-epidemic warfare knew very well what the pharmacy was like.
The respected General Secretary visited the pharmacy, where the healers and their families were most abundant.
The officials who followed Comrade
The more remorse they could not lift their heads, the more annoyed they felt as if a second from the drugstore was burning their hearts.
The hearts of the people who hesitated to approach him even at the moment of glory when they met him are awake.
"Marshal, we've been ill, too. But what if you come to this place?"
The saleswomen were anxious to see the respected General Secretary close to them, but they had just been ill, so they could not greet him properly.
As for them, the citizens of this country were sad and heartbroken with the worry that they had the Marshal in such a dangerous place, rather than the joy that they had met the respected Marshal
The voices of the people shed tears when they heard that the respected General Secretary visited the pharmacy.
"You are right in this country to have our Marshal in such a place, who is only one man. We can live without God, but we can't live without Marshal!"
"We didn't go to the next door for fear of infection of the disease, but the Marshal visited the people."
"Is it true that our Marshal looked round the pharmacy?"
The people couldn't believe that the news of the visit to the pharmacy where they live is not true, so many people repeated it over and over again.
The General Secretary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea moved closer to the people even though the people of the country tried to stay away from him for the moment.
That day the respected General Secretary approached the salesmen to learn in detail about the supply and sale of medicines to the inhabitants.
After inquiring into the state of the pharmaceutical supply and sale of medicines by a small pharmacy, he learned what medicines the people were looking for most and what they wanted then, and stressed repeatedly to the accompanying officials that they should rectify the shortcomings of the system of supplying medicines and take strong measures for the transport of medicines.
The respected General Secretary came to the forefront of the anti-epidemic war with an unusual determination to take the pain suffered by the people as his own pain and risk his life to defend them.
Since the outbreak of the malignant epidemic, the world has been overflowing with such words as leaving space, blockade, non-contact, home-quarantine, etc.
But why is our state, our people united as one living creature sharing the will and affection, achieving more steel-strong unity despite the misfortune suffered by mankind?
The answer to that is reflected on this day.
Thanks to the respected General Secretary who regards the hardships he suffers for the Party and the people as a priceless happiness and devotes his all to them, they are the people of the DPRK who never break their minds in spite of ordeals and it is our single-minded unity that are more firmly consolidated by the best communist virtues and customs in the world.
Thanks to the great strength of the single-hearted unity of the army and people boundlessly revering and following him, the respected General Secretary who regards it as an unprecedented honor to serve and struggle the people and bravely overcomes the difficulties of history with his ardent love for them, the anti-epidemic will surely emerge victorious.
