The respected Comrade
"The glorious and ennobling life of Comrade
The history of Chairman
His guerrilla-style field guidance is a militant method of work to go down to the spot where the revolutionary struggle and construction are always under way, to learn in detail about the reality and to solve it in conformity with the actual conditions.
The history of human politics has recorded many politicians. But there was no great statesman in all ages and countries like the great leader who continued his field guidance and worked heart and soul for the beloved people.
During the days when he took the lead in the Arduous March, he energetically gave field guidance all over the country, giving inexhaustible vitality to the general advance and bringing about a great turn in the building of a thriving country.
His on-the-spot guidance wrote an immortal heroic epic in the history of the country, which is a long journey of boundless loyalty and love for the country and people as well as the indefatigable forced march of super intensity to brilliantly realize the President's desire to build a thriving country and the centuries-old desire of Korean people.
In the first month of Juche 87(1998), his march covered more than 6 000-ri, regardless of the cold.
January is the coldest month in Korea.
From January 16 to 21, Juche 87(1998), he made a forced march for field guidance to Jagang Province, braving the severe cold and heavy snowstorm.
On his arrival in Kanggye on January 16, Juche 87(1998), he continued his field guidance to various units without a moment's rest.
Going round the Janggang Power Station No. 1, No. 2 and Jangjasan Power Station built in Kanggye, Janggang and Songgan counties, he learned in detail about the construction, highly appreciated the achievements made by the officials and builders and gave detailed tasks for electrification.
He gave field guidance to small-and medium-sized power stations and industrial establishments in Jagang Province for several days, regardless of the cold weather falling to 40 degrees below zero. And he instilled the flames of a new great upsurge and confidence and courage in victory into the hearts of the working class.
On the historic day, he told the officials that the man who made the revolution would not mind bad weather conditions. And he eased the officials, saying that he had set out this on-site guidance with firm resolution. He continued that it was the period of forced march, and when he took the lead, the people would follow. He also said that only when he took the lead, could the forced march be successfully carried out to win a new victory, so he could not be an exception in the forced march.
How impressive it is the teaching of the Chairman to an official who was concerned about his health as there were so many units to be visited in short days through the rugged mountainous terrain and the poor road conditions!
It was a historic event to be handed down through generations as an immortal picture to shine brilliantly in the revolutionary history of the WPK.
Indeed, his forced march for field guidance was an immortal patriotic long journey that opened up a new era of leap forward throughout the country, brought about innumerable changes for the first time in the 5 000-year-long history of the nation and brought into reality the dreams and ideals of Korean people.
Thanks to his energetic field guidance carried forward with boundless devotion and painstaking efforts beyond human imagination, a golden age of prosperity has been ushered in on this land.
