A Story of a Night Journey

Chairman Kim Jong Il said:

"Comrade Kim Jong Un cherishes close friendship for, and deep obligation to, his revolutionary comrades. Saying that people live with tender feelings, trust and obligation, he values, trusts, puts forward and takes care of those, to whom he once bestowed his tender feeling and trust, to the end."

Today, Korean people are looking up to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un not only as their leader, but as their dear father of a family with genuine trust and love.

Then what lies under Korean people's warm and ever-growing affection for their leader?

Here is a story of when the General Secretary visited a military unit in the middle of a very late night.

The chief official of the unit couldn't help his tears before the great man whom he had eagerly wanted to see as he understood the pains taken by the General Secretary who was on his endless tour of field-guidance regardless of any rest during the night.

After hours of valuable teachings on the unit's management and its activities, the General Secretary appreciated the official's service for giving the President and the Chairman pleasure. Even on his leaving, the General Secretary gave blessing for his health and success in work.

The chief official choked with emotion until he saw General Secretary off and he could barely move for thinking of the General Secretary's exertion.

Then after a few minutes, to his surprise, he could see the General Secretary's car coming back.

The General Secretary said to the bewildered official that he was sorry about not having a photo taken with him.

And that made the official bury his face in the bosom of the General Secretary and burst into tears of emotion.

It was the happiest moment of his life as if he had gained the entire universe and he said to the General Secretary in his heart: (Our respected General Secretary! We can't live for a single minute without your love.)

Indeed, this was a reflection not just of a single heart but of the all the Koreans who entrust themselves to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
