The Single-hearted Unity and a Peach

On June 5, Juche 80(1991), the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung said to the e president of the association of the national Olympic committees and president and director-general of the publishing organization of Mexico and his party on a visit to our country, that our single-hearted unity of the leader, the party and the masses is the same as the relationship of the seed, stone and flesh of a peach.

The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung said:

"The single-hearted unity of the leader, Party and the masses can be likened to a peach. In the flesh of the peach is a stone in which there is a seed. The seed of the peach is the Headquarters of our Party, the stone the Party and the flesh the masses."

A peach is very hard because its seed, stone and flesh are firmly combined each other.

The reason why the great leader likened our single-hearted unity to the peach is that our single-hearted unity is the unity closely bound by one centre and one ideology, the cohesion of Party and the masses uniting behind the leader and the integral whole as hard as the peach, which is more powerful than the atomic bomb.

The power of the unity is very strong. Looking back to the history of the human being, many politicians emphasized over the importance of the unity and tried hard to achieve it.

Marx put forward the slogan "Workers of all countries, unite!" in his book "Communist Manifesto", in which he emphasized that the communists, the communist parties and the worker's parties should raise the strengthening of the unity and cohesion of their party as their first task to destroy the capitalism.

But no party in the world has achieved this kind of unity and cohesion.

Only our party has achieved the unity of ideology and will, one of morality and obligation by uniting behind the leader and establishing its monolithic ideology as the leader's idea

Then, why is our single-hearted unity hard like a peach?

That is because our single-hearted unity has the leader on its center.

As all things change and develop with their core in the center, the unity and cohesion must have its core. No unity and cohesion can be existed without its core. Many parties wanted their unity and cohesion but didn't achieve it because they didn't have a center of the unity.

Our party has achieved the unity rallying behind the leader, the powerful unity and cohesion that the Party and the masses are firmly united with the leader's idea, the revolutionary conviction and moral and obligational bond.

The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung was the talented ideological theoretician, the distinguished statesman, the ever-victorious, iron willed brilliant commander and the tender-hearted father. With uniting behind him, our people started the arduous Korean revolution to win the victory in the great anti-Japanese war and the fierce fatherland liberation war against the combined imperialist forces and we have advanced our socialism victoriously.

The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il was the peerless brilliant commander who consolidated and developed more and more our single-hearted unity while doing unremitting ideological and theoretical activities to inherit and accomplish the Juche revolutionary cause opened up by the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung. With the firm conviction that we would win victory certainly as long as we were led by the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, our people rallied firmly as one around him. Then in 1990s we defeated the imperialists' isolation and stifling maneuverings and sanction against our republic and ended victoriously the Arduous March.

Today, our single-hearted unity is consolidated more and more by uniting behind the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is the top incarnation of love for the people and the veteran leader.

He is the father of the people who has a keen perspicacity, splendid memory, creative cognitive faculty, matchless courage and grit, iron will, warm human love and noble character as his natural disposition. He has confidence in the justness of the Juche revolutionary cause and the firm conviction in the victory of the revolution and the warm love for the revolutionary comrades and people, implementing the politics for the people. By rallying around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, our people have advanced forcefully along the way to the socialism with redoubled courage even in the hard ordeals.

The role of the party is very important in consolidating the unity. Only when Party leads rightly the masses according to the leader's idea and intention, the single-hearted unity rallied around the leader can be strengthened more and more.

Our party has been putting forward it as the supreme principle of its activity to take responsible care of the people's future entirely and lead them, upholding high the great leaders' idea of believing in the people as in heaven. Since its founding, our party has advanced our revolution while regarding the people as supreme.

Whenever adopting new policy, or facing any difficult situation in the whole period of the leadership of the revolution, our party used to go among the popular masses preferentially to pay attention to their honest voices and to take the inexhaustible encouragement form their true feelings to our party.

Our party serves people devotedly, sharing life and death with them and pushing forward the revolution and construction by enlisting the unfailing energy and creative ingenuity of the masses. Our people are regarding our party as the bosom of their mother and being firmly rallied behind the Party to uphold its leadership from their hearts.

We can hear the songs of Comrade General Secretary, our father and the cheers of "Long Live Workers' Party of Korea!" throughout all over our country. That is because our respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is the greatest and our party is the best in the world.

All the people in our country today have rallied as one around WPK and the respected General Secretary. The world people say that single-hearted unity in Korea is more powerful than the atomic bomb, so nobody in the world can break this unity.

We will advance along the way to the socialism through any sanction and oppression of the imperialists with the mightiness of this single-hearted unity which our great leaders achieved and our respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is consolidating more strongly.
