The respected General Secretary visited the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort just before its inauguration in December Juche 108 (2019).
He looked round different places of the resort including the horse-riding park and the ski service complex and asked to go up to the summit of the ski resort.
An official who thought that he could not show the respected General Secretary in the cablecar, which had only gone through two or three trial runs, said it would be a better to go up by car.
Just then the respected General Secretary warmly said that as it was a cablecar to be used by the people, he should test it himself.
Some years ago, when he visited the Masikryong Ski Resort, he felt relieved only when he tried the cablecar to be used by the people and confirmed its safety condition.
He told the officials who fell into passionate emotion that a single test run by himself would give more credence to people than ten test runs made by the officials.
Soon afterwards, he arrived at the summit of the second ski lane, candidly sitting on a cable chair to be used by the people and said that the height of the cable pole had been well fixed. He, then, told the officials to open a direct passage to the resting pavilion to ensure the convenience for the people so that they didn't need to make a detour to get there when they got off the cable car.
After a while, he went down to the destination area of the ski resort again by cable car and inquired about the capacity of the ski resort, and meticulously instructed that a safety net should be installed at the intersection of the second and the third ski lanes to divide the boundary.
It moved the officials deeply.
They were moved by the deep reverence for the respected General Secretary who made boundless demands on everything for the people and led the construction of the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort to the highest level.
Visiting the construction site about 20 days ago from then, he earnestly said that there should not be any shortcomings in the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort as it was a base for hot spring remedial service built by the Workers' Party of Korea for the promotion of the people's health and well-being. Furthermore, he went there again as though he had been short of affection and devoted efforts and ascertained the safety condition even by riding to the cablecar. There is no one like him who devotes his all for the people in the universe.
Thanks to the respected General Secretary who is making selfless, devoted efforts with self-sacrifice and practice, feeling the greatest pride and joy in the happy looks of the beloved people, the beautiful dreams and ideals of the people will come into full bloom day by day and the cheers of the Workers' Party of Korea and socialism will grow louder in the DPR Korea.
