On January 23 in 2010, Chairman
Noting that the equipment of the factory should be modernized quickly in our own way, he said that it is an important task for the factory to put the production processes on a modern and scientific basis in the nearest future by dynamically pushing ahead with the overall technical modernization.
After indicating the tasks facing the factory, he said that officials and technicians should design and push ahead with the modernization in an audacious and unyielding manner with innovative insight and made sure that the units concerned help the technical modernization of the factory actively.
Thanks to his wise leadership, the officials and workers of the factory were able to modernize the major production processes in less than a year.

Looking with joy at the panorama of the factory premises, he said that the appearance of the factory had changed completely after his visit in January with a bright smile on his face.
After asking about the production and management activities of the factory which were on a high-standard scientific and technological basis, he stepped into a room for analysis of raw materials and products.
Looking at the special purpose flour analysis equipment, he asked in detail about the product inspection and said that the product inspection should be expanded in various stages.
That day, he gave valuable instructions on the issue of promoting technical modernization at a higher level and taking measures for supplying raw materials and ensuring hygienic safety, the issue of systematically lowering production costs through excellent management and operation of the factory and improving the quality of products by raising the level of the workers' technology and skills.
He continued to say that in the course of rebuilding and expanding the Pyongyang Flour Processing Factory, we demonstrated the might of our science and technology and Juche industry again and clearly showed once again that there is no fortress that could not be occupied when scientists and technicians make strenuous efforts with a decision to be the top of the world by conducting brains and technical warfare.
Indeed, it was the precious guideline that taught once again the key to the growth of production was to put the production process on a scientific and modern basis by introducing modern science and technology.
The DPRK is dynamically accelerating the building of a powerful socialist country giving priority to science and technology which is the locomotive driving socialist construction and the main power of developing the country's economy. It will greet the brighter future by dint of science and technology.
