The DPRK provides new school uniforms and school supplies to all students across the country every season – a policy number one for the Workers' Party of Korea and the state to implement as the respected leader

"Our Party, which regards love for the younger generation as the most important affair, has provided free education for schoolchildren to learn to their heart's content and grow up with nothing to envy, setting it as a state policy to supply them with new school uniforms and school things according to seasons, and building schools, children's palaces and children's camps across the country."

No other country in the world seems to adopt it as its national policy to produce and supply school uniforms to students of all educational institutions-primary, secondary and tertiary-with full responsibility of the state, and at a token price.
With a fatherly responsibility to make all schoolchildren and students of the country look brighter and prouder, he has given detailed guidance from designing and producing to supplying school uniforms for all students across the country.
A few years ago, he gave a task to dress designers to examine new school uniforms to be made for students as required by the new century and later sent them the photos of school dress samples of famous universities and schools from around the world. Far too numerous to mention are the designs and samples he reviewed and inspired them with for better ideas to widen their designer vision.
Nobody knows how many days and nights he had spent for the uniform designs to be displayed in a conference hall of the Central Committee of the WPK, often calling officials concerned to give instructions in this regard, and expending time and energy examining several shortlisted designs for schools at all levels. His instructions mostly included the best possible designing and dressmaking details such as what shapes to choose for primary and middle schoolboys separately, what colors to choose for primary and middle schoolgirls.
Even his New Year's Day in 2022 was devoted to looking around so many new samples of school uniforms and to the instructions for producing and supplying the newly chosen types of school uniforms, while the whole country was in full festivity greeting in the New Year. The uniforms should be of high quality, he emphasized to the officials one month later, because if the uniforms are poorly made all our had efforts wouldn't pay off in the end. He instructed that the central authorities should dispatch highly-skilled workers and engineers down to local areas for technical training.
A new body-measuring manual was published by his instruction for the production of school uniforms for the first time in the history of the garment industry of the country.
One day in September 2022 the respected General Secretary had a talk with senior officials of the Party Central Committee about the production process of school uniforms, asking them earnestly to make sure that all school uniforms should be custom-made. When making school uniforms, he stressed, it would be difficult for the small number of tailors to measure all the bodies of student population, but when all class teachers learn to measure bodily indexes and do the job for their students, they would be able to exactly measure all students of the country. That was how the guidebook of body measurement came into being, and thus all students of the nation could be able to receive new school uniforms that perfectly fit their body.
This is not the only moving story.
In order to ensure the quality of school uniforms, he made sure that multimedia programs be made and supplied to provinces for uniform production for students ranging from primary school level to university level. And he often gave instructions on various issues of packaging school uniforms, supplying package materials, attaching student name tags to all uniforms to be supplied, strict procedures for quality control and consignee package checkup.
Thanks to his meticulous interest and care, all students across the country have received a new school uniform custom-made without any creases, singing songs of their happiness with nothing to envy in the world.
The world will continuously witness the bright smiling children and students growing happily in the DPRK thanks to his noble view on children that it is the mode of advance of the Korean revolution to devote more affection to them, though in adversity, dynamically advancing towards the communist future by means of the devoted love for them.
