The Paternal Love Associated with the Large-Scale Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

The paternal love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards the people as his God and puts their demands and interests at the centre of his all considerations is also warmly associated with the large-scale greenhouse farm built in the modern style in Jungphyong, Korea.

One day in July Juche 107 (2018), he visited Jungphyong far from Pyongyang. He had had a far-reaching plan to remove the military airport completely and to build a modern large-scale greenhouse farm in the very spot in order to supply fresh vegetables to the people in North Hamgyong Province in all seasons.

It was a sultry hot Sunday when he visited the site.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who had already matured his grand plan to build a modern greenhouse farm for the people, said to the officials that this was the place of which he had already thought, and consulted a map to confirm its position.

The history of mankind has witnessed many times that the military armies were stationed by building their military bases in the fertile lands or by removing the dwelling houses of people.

In Korea, however, a new legend was created, in which while the existing important military base was dismantled, the army personnel built a large-scale greenhouse farm in that spot by themselves and handed it over to the people in order to supply vegetables to the people.

A month later after the first visit to Jungphyong, he came again there to indicate the ways clearly for turning this area into a golden land by building the greenhouse farm, tree nurseries and the dwelling houses on the highest level which are perfect not only in architectural aesthetics but also in practical use.

He organized the powerful construction headquarter to dispatch to the spot, gave precious instructions for the construction of the greenhouse farm from time to time every week and every month, solved all the capital requirements as well as construction materials and sent lots of materials and latest scientific and technological data for the greenhouse.

Thanks to his warm fatherly love and energetic guidance, 320 projects including greenhouses, tree nurseries, public buildings, various cultural and welfare facilities and hundreds of houses were completed in the modern style in Jungphyong miraculously in a little more than a year on the large ground of 200 hectares to mass-produce fresh vegetables and saplings in all seasons.

On December 3, Juche 108 (2019), highly delighted in the news that various kinds of vegetables could be supplied to the people in all seasons by the operation of the greenhouse farm, he visited the greenhouse farm in the coldest weather in midwinter.

Having forgotten all the efforts that he had personally visited the spot to appoint the site for the farm and solved the problems arising in its construction including its design and supply of materials one by one, he looked round the farm with a bright smile on his face all the time.

Though there were geographically distant and close places, there were no people who were distant and close in his mind, and when this greenhouse farm contributed to the dietary life of the people in North Hamgyong Province, there was nothing more to be desired for him, he said.

Today, the people in North Hamgyong Province, having received various kinds of fresh vegetables produced at the Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm, say with their deep emotions that they, who live in the northern part of the country, are also enjoying the same happiness as the capital citizens do and are bringing about a surge of innovations at their workplaces to display their loyalty to the paternal love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
