There are many stories in the revolutionary career and activities of President Kim Il Sung, which are handed down like legends revoking boundless reverence and admiration of all people as time goes by.

Among them are the tales about the military tactics that made the anti-Japanese guerrilla army demonstrate its prestige as the revolutionary army rising into the sky and dipping into the ground.

During the Arduous March in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, President Kim Il Sung made the enemies fight themselves by manipulating the snowstorms, and in September 1936 at Xiaodeshui he set the tactics for enemies to fire themselves by using the difficult conditions of identifying the friend and foe due to thick forest.

It was during the battle of a place in March 1939.

In the darkness, President Kim Il Sung deployed guerrillas in the east and west to fire a volley at the enemies on both directions before vanishing completely. The enemies, ignorant of this, fought themselves recklessly all night, causing countless deaths.

Many of these were an ever-victorious weapon that had prepared the KPRA (Korean People's Revolutionary Army) as an invincible one and, by relying on them, defeated the regular army of the aggression forces by guerrilla warfare for the first time in history with the new and original tactics of our own style which could not be found in any other military manuals.

Indeed, President Kim Il Sung was a legendary hero who led the anti-Japanese war to victory by creating many tactics that would be recorded forever in the world history of guerrilla warfare with his outstanding stratagem.
