The anti-Japanese war heroine Comrade Kim Jong Suk conducted an active activity to carry out the intention of the great leader to develop sports work after the liberation.
The great leader had a great concern about the sports work from the first period of post-liberation and personally initiated and gave boost to the construction of the Democratic Youth League Stadium(at that time). Then, after the construction was completed, he was much happier than anyone else and did a great favor to organize a sports program to celebrate the inauguration.
It was the very "a special sport's night".
Comrade Kim Jong Suk led one by one to prepare the mass gymnastic display of the students of Pyongyang fourth girls' middle school on the highest level for ‘'a special sport's night".
The students of Pyongyang fourth girls' middle school was planning to take part in the mass gymnastic display while the other several schools in Pyongyang was preparing the participation to the celebration on the threshold of the night.
When the suggestion to prepare the mass gymnastics came up for the first time, some officials insisted on choice of certain sports items saying a lack of experience and skill so and so.
Acquainting herself with this fact, she told the officials that the mass gymnastics is very good not only for body training but also for students to develop the sense of organization and collectivism.
Continuously, she said that the great leader created the "Flower gymnastics" in the early period of his revolutionary activities and spread it to the young students, and during the anti-Japanese armed struggle period they used to have gymnastics involving not as many students as nowadays, containing a certain educational idea was beneficial for students and was impressed by the audience.
This teaching enlightened the creative idea of the school personnel for the mass gymnastics.
Consequently, the mass gymnastics of students was prepared on the highest level.

After a variety of sports games like volleyball and basketball, the mass gymnastics was finally conducted.
First, students with white neat and tidy sportswear represented themselves growing up strongly and learning to their hearts' content through the impressive gymnastics. Then, the ranks of flower gymnastics appeared.
Ranks of flower gymnastics carrying red flowers in their hands formed different shapes and performed the actions involving the idea of offering grateful thanks and honors to the great leader who provided such happiness.
During it, 18 students came into the front of the ranks and raised the clothes written the slogan of "Let us be prepared as reliable personnel of a new democratic Korea".
At the same time, the ranks of free gymnastics that had made their exit appeared again singing the "Song of General
The great leader and Comrade Kim Jong Suk expressed their satisfaction giving big hands whenever the scene changed.
When the gymnastics was finished and students came back, Comrade Kim Jong Suk said to students that students had done well and described happy lives of young students of new Korea vividly with natural change of ranks and keeping the rows dressing to the left and right side.
At this time, teachers hurried to greet Comrade Kim Jong Suk politely.
Comrade Kim Jong Suk told that the gymnastics created and performed by teachers had a simple construction, a clear idea, refined movements and beautiful rhythm.
And she continued saying that how it was worthy that young students, who had been lorded over under the Japanese colonial control could strengthen their body to their hearts' content in such a wonderful gym built by their own efforts and that sport is one of the major vehicles to bring up the younger generation as brave, healthy and strong combatants, thus strengthening physical training in schools in the future and making sports mass-based as taught by the great leader.
The immortal exploits, which Comrade Kim Jong Suk accomplished in the development of physical training in schools after liberation, remains long in the hearts of our people and younger generation today.
