Whenever I see the proud sportspeople of the DPRK demonstrating the dignity and honor of Juche Korea on awarding platforms for winners in international games, I feel the boundless love of the respected Comrade

"Only sportspeople can cause the flag of our Republic to be hoisted in the sky of other countries in peace time."
In August 2015, our women footballers won the final of the 2015 East Asian Cup of the EAFF. The respected General Secretary, who had personally seen the play-by-play broadcast of the game, stressed to the officials about the welcoming reception event and asked them to send the national flags of the DPRK by plane so that they would get off the plane with the flags over their bodies.
As a result, the national flags of the DPRK for our players and coaches were specially manufactured and sent to them by air. And our women footballers and coaches could be embraced in the bosom of the motherland and the great leader with the flags over their bodies.
The national flags of the DPRK taught our players again what they should run for and what is most precious to a sportsperson.
There lies the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who would instill the beautiful outlook on life into the minds of the sportspeople that they should value and add lustre to the national flag as well as give them special honor and pride.
