Spring Water which has Become the People's Wealth for the Promotion of the Health of Pyongyang Citizens

When we think of the Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory at the foot of Mt Ryongak, we can't help feeling of deep yearning for Chairman Kim Jong Il who set it as his firm determination to make our people drink the best water in the world.

Warm love of the benevolent father was a source of many legends of love for the people on this land.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"We should ensure that the priceless assets bequeathed by General Kim Jong Il through a painstaking effort fulfil their potential, thus making our people who have invariably trusted and followed our Party the happiest in the world."

The spring water of Mt Ryongak, which had been gushing out in the past, became the wealth of the people for the promotion of the health of Pyongyang citizens thanks to the warm affection of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

One year Chairman Kim Jong Il was so pleased to hear that a rich source of spring water of good quality was found in the area of Mt Ryongak, he saw to it that a spring water factory was built in the area which is close to the central area of the capital city and convenient for transport and took detailed measures while paying close attention to the problems of equipment, materials, transport and containers needed for the construction of the factory.

As a result, the Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory opened in Juche 96(2007) under the warm care of Chairman Kim Jong Il who spared nothing for the people.

He was so pleased that another factory serving the people was built in the country, and he made up his mind to visit it without fail when he had time. He visited the factory early in the morning in January in Juche 100(2011), the last period of his life, despite the severe cold.

As he looked round the processes such as water filtration, water disinfection, water injection and delivery, he even tasted the spring water produced at the factory and was very satisfied.

His love for the people was so intense that he even had the taste of the spring water they drank and found satisfaction from that.

On the unforgettable day, he earnestly said that the most important task facing the officials and employees of the factory was to systematically increase production in the spirit of devoted service for the people and supply a larger quantity of good-quality spring water to the citizens of the capital.

With the ardent love for the people of Chairman Kim Jong Il in his heart, the respected General Secretary visited the factory on September 29, Juche 105(2016).

At the factory, as he went round the monument to the great leader's field guidance and the newly-built rooms dedicated to education with revolutionary relics and to the history of the factory, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un recalled with deep emotions that Chairman Kim Jong Il had visited the factory early in the morning on January 20, in spite of the severe cold and had even tasted the spring water produced at the factory and was very satisfied to say that the Ryongaksan spring water renowned as a water of longevity became able to be supplied to Pyongyang citizens in all seasons thanks to the his warm affection.

And he earnestly called upon the officials and employees of the factory to glorify the great leader's love for the people forever with good production results, always keeping in mind the immortal leadership and devoted efforts made by Chairman Kim Jong Il to provide the people with tasty and good-quality spring water.

That day the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the supply of spring water to the people was not merely a matter of providing drinking water to the people but a matter of the spirit of serving the people. And he clarified the tasks to keep production going on a high level, including the issue of taking necessary measures to ensure the timely transport of the produced spring water and the issue of meticulously organizing the work of standardizing and diversifying the colour and shape of glass bottles.

In particular, he stressed the need to analyze the quality of the spring water and prevent the production of the spring water which fails to ensure hygienic safety and gave detailed instructions on making clear laws and regulations for assessing the quality of spring water and controlling its production.

In the present world where water is used as a powerful means of making money, the fact of supplying spring water produced at huge costs to the people is that can be found only in our country led by the benevolent father of the people.

The Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory, which was built under the warm love of the peerless great men endowed with boundless love for the people, has been being famed as a factory loved by the people, demonstrating the advantages of our socialist system where all the wealth are devoted to the promotion of the people's well-being.
