Today, our people are keenly sensing in their hearts the immeasurably lofty and noble moral obligation of the respected General Secretary who has accomplished undying exploits before the times and history, upholding faithfully the ideology and the cause of President and Chairman.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"To hold Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages and creditably carry forward and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche bequeathed to us by them is the revolutionary duty and noble moral obligation of our Party and people."

The cause of immortalizing the leader is a sacred work to revere the leader, who had led the cause of independence of the popular masses, invariably even after he passed away, and to safeguard and glorify his revolutionary ideology and exploits throughout generations.

In order to advance the socialist cause victoriously, it is definitely needed to revere the leader, who pioneered the road of revolution for the first time, forever even after he demised and invariably safeguard his ideology and cause, since the cause of independence of the popular masses constitutes the one of the leader.

The cause of immortalizing the leader is not realized by itself but can be implemented successfully only by the genuine successor and the outstanding leader who carries forward the revolutionary cause of the former leader cherishing the boundless loyalty to him and the absolute faith in his revolutionary ideology and exploits.

The brilliant example set by the respected General Secretary in realizing the cause of immortalizing the leader is, first of all, represented in venerating President and Chairman as the sun of Juche for all ages.

As the socialist cause is a revolutionary one which does not end in a generation but is carried forward throughout generations, it is an important issue relevant with the destiny of the socialist cause how to venerate the leader who had led the revolution earlier in the historical period of carrying forward the revolutionary cause, especially after he passed away. If it is disregarded and the problem of immortalizing the leader is not solved properly, the socialist cause, the leader's cause, is certain to go through many failures, turns and twists.

The respected General Secretary wisely led the work to revere President and Chairman in high esteem forever in accordance with our people's ardent aspiration and desire.

To begin with, the respected Secretary named Kumsusan Memorial Palace, where President and Chairman lie in state, "Kumsusan Palace of the Sun" and devoted his all to make it and the local area more solemn as the eternal sacred place of the sun.

Kumsusan Palace of the Sun is a sacred place where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il left remarkable traces of lofty revolutionary activities and leadership.

President and Chairman not only managed state affairs in that palace for a long time to lead our revolution along the only ever-victorious road but also had a great number of meaningful memorial photos taken with our people and service personnel, leaving a lot of noble images of the integrated whole.

It was the most righteous determination and measure of the respected General Secretary, who deeply fathomed our people's unanimous desire and belief that President and Chairman will always be with them, to venerate them in state in Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

Thanks to the noble moral obligation of the respected General Secretary, the Law of Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, unprecedented in any other country's code, was adopted and Kumsusan Palace of the Sun assumed perfect features of the sacred place of the sun that conveys the greatness, glorious revolutionary history and immortal revolutionary exploits of President and Chairman both in name and reality.

And, also, the respected Secretary made the revolutionary lives and exploits of President and Chairman brilliant by giving energetic guidance to building up the bronze statues of them all across the country.

In accordance with the unanimous desire of our people and service personnel to cherish the sublime images of the great leaders in their hearts forever, he saw to it that numerous bronze statues and images of the great leaders and towers of immortality were built up all over the country, such as on Mansu Hill, and took revolutionary measures to consolidate and develop our Party, government and the army into the ones of Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for all ages.

Under the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary, our Party clearly declared our people's faith and will to revere Chairman Kim Jong Il as the eternal leader of our Party and revolution together with President Kim Il Sung and brilliantly realize the ideology and cause of them on the occasion of the 4th Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea held in April, Juche101(2012).

The historical conference held discussions on the issues to venerate Chairman Kim Jong Il as the eternal leader of our Party and glorify his revolutionary life and undying exploits, and amended the Party rules accordingly.

It was an extremely significant event that clearly demonstrated across the world the faith, will and moral obligation of our people and service personnel, the descendants of President Kim Il Sung and the soldiers and disciples of Chairman Kim Jong Il, with which they revere their own leaders, and how they turned up to realize the leaders' ideology and causes.

Thanks to such lofty moral obligation and wise leadership of the respected Marshal, the sacred history of the sun could flow vigorously on this land and our people and service personnel could dynamically accelerate the gigantic march towards the accomplishment of the socialist cause cherishing the great leaders as their eternal spiritual mainstay in their hearts.

The brilliant example shown by the respected General Secretary in realizing the cause of immortalizing the leader is, next, reflected in the fact that he let the history of the leaders flow forever by carrying and developing their ideologies and exploits.

The immortality of the leader is, in essence, the immortality of his ideology and exploits.

The revolutionary ideology of the leader is the eternal lifeblood for an independent and creative life and the guiding principle of struggle and life. Only when the leader's ideology is safeguarded and further glorified, the leader becomes immortal in people's hearts despite the alternation of generations of the revolution.

The respected General Secretary formulated the guiding ideology of our Party as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, as required by the times and revolutionary development, and declared modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the highest program of our Party.

It is an important requirement for carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche to formulate the great leaders' guiding ideology as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and develop it further.

Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, formulated by the respected Secretary, is the revolutionary ideology with Juche idea as its quintessence which involves a monolithic systematization of theories and methods relevant with revolution and construction illustrated by it.

This revolutionary ideology contains the ultimate goal of our revolution, fundamental methods for its realization, right strategies and tactics to carry forward the revolutionary cause of Juche and concrete tasks to be adhered to in all sectors on a full scale.

Thanks to the original ideological and theoretical activities of the respected Secretary, the revolutionary ideology of the great leaders was formulated together with their august names and became immortal with its inexhaustible vitality.

The respected General Secretary wisely led the work to add luster to the revolutionary lives and exploits of the great leaders.

He said we should steadfastly safeguard the ideology and exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il and solve all the problems arising in revolution and construction true to his ideas and intentions, i.e. in his own style, and gave teachings to realize his intentions and wishes brilliantly by adhering to his lifetime instructions as the programmatic guidelines and implementing them without an inch of deflection.

Today, our people are rising as one in the struggle to implement the lifetime instructions of Chairman Kim Jong Il under the wise leadership of the respected Secretary.

The respected Secretary let the sacred revolutionary history of the great leader and great general continue to flow vigorously with ever-prospering fatherland by giving guidance to all sectors and units to hold fast to the struggle for implementing the great leaders' lifetime instructions as the main lifeline and bringing their intentions and wills into reality thoroughly without an inch of deflection.

He regards improving people's living standard as the most primary problem in implementing the lifetime instructions of Chairman Kim Jong Il and is unfolding massive operations to solve the problems of food, clothing and housing decisively.

Our people, heartily responding to the respected Secretary's immutable faith and will, have created a new Korean speed and ushered in a new era of racing against time, and are performing new miracles that peoples of the world can't even imagine in building up a thriving nation in succession by resolutely waging the struggle to implement the leaders' lifetime instructions and to safeguard the Party policies holding high the principle of self-development first despite all the shortages and difficult circumstances.

Thanks to the patriotic devotion of the respected Secretary, who devotes his whole to turn the seeds of socialist happiness sown by the great leaders into rich fruits, our fatherland is demonstrating the dignity and prestige of a politico-ideological and military power more highly. While the ideology of believing in people as in heaven, which was regarded as a motto by the great leaders throughout their whole lives, is being carried forward brilliantly and the history of the people-first principle is flowing invariably, a great number of new legends of love for the people are flourishing and a lot of radical changes are brought about in improving the people's living standard.

Indeed, the proud victories and successes achieved by our Party and people in the struggle to defend and glorify socialism under the unfurled banner of great Juche idea give full proof of the precious philosophical principle that it is a fundamental problem that determines the destiny of the revolution and the future of our people to venerate the leader forever and carry forward his ideology and exploits brilliantly, even after he passed away, in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of the popular masses.
