School Uniforms And School Things Permeated With Fatherly Affection

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Although the country's situation is difficult, we should provide the students with school uniforms without fail true to the ennobling intentions of the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il."

President Kim Il Sung was so happy to have the school uniforms provided to the students across the country that he stayed with the children in their new clothes for a long time and took pictures of them in person. The pictures on that memorable spring day are still engraved in our people's hearts.

Chairman Kim Jong Il made a great effort to ensure that our Party's policy of supplying the school uniforms on the state expenses was carried out as ever. Even during the Arduous March and Forced March periods when the country was undergoing trials, the production of school uniforms was continued without interruption by all-Party and national measures.

The history of our Party's love for the younger generation has witnessed many legendary stories.

The noble love for the rising generations cherished by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il still carries on in the DPRK.

On December 19, Juche 103(2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and stressed that the supply of school uniforms is an issue which should be solved unconditionally, no matter how difficult it may be, and which our Party has maintained consistently and regards as a matter of great importance.

Korean people were deeply impressed to hear his earnest words that although the country's situation is difficult, we should provide the students with school uniforms without fail true to the ennobling intentions of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and that this work should be successfully carried out without fail, whether we have enough funds or not.

The facts were really impressive that the conference hall of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was full of the designs of school uniforms and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, encouraging the workers to produce the cloth for uniforms.

We have more facts to say about his love for the rising generations.

He met the students in new uniforms, seeing if the shoes and uniforms fitted them and the colour suited their age as kindly as their parents. He also solved all the problems arising in the production of uniforms and school things to be supplied to the students.

Thanks to his warm love and care, all the students across the country, from the remote mountainous villages to the far-off islands, received new school uniforms and school things.

At the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held in December Juche 110(2021), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it is our Party's policy and the eternal state policy of the DPRK to provide school children with uniforms at any cost and with top priority, and set forth the task of supplying all the students with new forms of quality uniforms and bags, and took a crucial measure of the Central Committee of the Party to implement them.
