A Factory our Party Attaches Importance to

Today, visitors to Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, can see cars running in the center of the street of the capital city, full of dairy products, catching the eyes of many children and citizens.

The Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory now supplies nutritive foodstuffs including tasty baby milk powder to our children. However, not many people know how ardent love of the peerlessly great men the factory contains and how impressive history of boundless affection for children is going on.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"The Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory is a factory, to which our Party attaches importance, and a maternal factory, which enjoys special concern of the mothers across the country. The factory should not stop its production even a moment."

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory on December 15, Juche 103 (2014).

That day the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory is a factory, to which our Party attaches importance, and a maternal factory, which enjoys special concern of the mothers across the country. He also gave precious instructions on normalizing the production of the factory on a high level.

The factory our Party attaches importance to!

This word warmly expresses the deep love of the peerlessly great men for the rising generations.

In retrospect, the peerlessly great men gave special attention to the factory and took great care of the normalization of its production all the time from the first day to the present day, saying that bringing up children healthily is a crucial factor that decides the rise and fall of the nation.

President Kim Il Sung personally chose the site of the factory and built it and Chairman Kim Jong Il took benevolent measures to ensure uninterrupted production by supplying raw materials to the factory, saying that we have to make our children happy even in the period of the arduous march girding up our loins.

Indeed, today's factory would be unthinkable apart from the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who set the issue of bringing up children healthily as an important work that decides the rise and fall of the nation and paid such deep attention to the work of the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory.

The great love shown by the great leaders for our children is being steadily carried forward by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took the issue of normalizing the production of the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory as not merely an economic and technical matter but a matter of moral obligation, faith and conscience to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the factory on December 15, Juche 103 (2014) and warmly said that the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory is associated with the leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

At that time the officials did not take measures to supply raw materials to the factory in time, thus making it impossible to continue the production.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that failure to supply raw materials to the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory is tantamount to giving up socialism and insisting on surrender to the enemy, adding that the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory is a factory with a tearful story in the arduous march, and it should not stop its production. And he took all the measures to normalize its production.

In November Juche 104 (2015), he visited the factory again, which was turned into a model factory for modernization of our own style, and said how pleased President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il would be if we produce plenty of tasty and nutritious foodstuffs and send them to the children. He continued that it is for our children, the future of our country, to make a revolution while overcoming difficulties and that children's laughter makes us picture the bright future even in difficult times. He stressed that the officials and employees of the factory should ensure our children's laughter by normalizing its production and produce plenty of tasty and nutritious foodstuffs.

The Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held in June Juche 110 (2021) established the policy of the Party to supply dairy products and other nutritious foodstuffs to all our children at the state expense.

This policy reflects how deep the love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the rising generations is, how firm his faith in the future is, and how ardent his devotion to our children is.
