The battle to defend Wolmi Island, in which the soldiers fought against the huge enemy armed forces numbering 50 000, the battle to defend Height 1211, in which the soldiers repulsed enemy's attack dozens of times a day, and other battles to defend the heights of the country calling the heights of the country were their heights, and the struggle the civilians fought to defend their beloved home villages clearly show how ardent and warm was the patriotic spirit of our people, soldiers of the People's Army and children's guard.

Heroes Jang Thae Hwa, Kim In Thaek and Kim Ryong Thaek opened up roads for charge by their units by blocking the enemy pillboxes with their chests.
