There is said to be a lot of camps for children in the world. But we can find no such a smart one as the Songdowon International Children's Camp in the DPRK, where all the buildings and facilities were built implementing the requirements of the Juche-oriented idea on architectural aesthetics.

One day in May Juche 102 (2013) on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union, the respected General Secretary visited the Songdowon International Children's Camp without any moment of rest.
He said with a bright smile on his face that he came to learn about the management and operation of the camp and take measures to rebuild it as required by the new century.
Going round various places of the camp, he said that the playground seemed to be a little small when he reached the outdoor playground.
After a while, he told officials that the area around the playground should be extended, and basketball and volleyball courts should be built as well as football fields and running tracks saying that there was no running track in the playground. He gave instructions on the problems arising in remodeling the outdoor playground.
The camp has basketball and volleyball courts and a football field.
On April 20th, Juche 103 (2014), the respected General Secretary visited the remodeled Songdowon International Children's Camp again.
He went round the International Friendship Children's Hall and other places of the camp and walked to the newly-built outdoor playground. An official asked him to go by car.
Then he went on his way on foot, saying why he would go by car in such a good place.
After arriving at the outdoor playground, he paid attention to the floor of the playground, saying that it looks very nice because the roof of the auditorium is blue going with the color of the sea.
Looking at the outdoor playground with artificial turf, he said with great pleasure: The green lawn on the floor, auditorium chairs and wavy blue roof of the auditorium are in good harmony; the colors and shapes match well; they look like a picture and a work of art; they are really perfect and proud of the world.
Saying that the artificial turf laid on the football field is wonderful; he said to lay a catapult tower in the playground so that children could play football even at night in summer; and at the inauguration ceremony of the Songdowon International Children's Camp, a football match should be organized there.
On May 2nd, Juche 103 (2014), the respected General Secretary attended the inaugural ceremony of the camp, watched the finals of the national children's football tournament together with teaching staff and students and took hands of players, coaches and referees of both teams and gave them the highest glory of having a photo session with them.
The love of the respected General Secretary for the children is infinite, which is incomparable with the love of all the parents of the world.
Happy laughter and singing "We Are Happiest in the World" of the children of the DPRK are resounding in the happy palaces and cradles of love as the respected General Secretary, the father of a great socialist family who regards schoolchildren as the precious treasure of the country is holding them in high esteem.
