A range of trophies and diplomas are available in our country. Very few people, however, have an idea that the fishing industry was honored with special trophy and diploma and there's an amazing story to tell as to how they came into being.

While looking around the premises he encountered a socialist emulation graph for fishing on the wall. After a long pause he asked if the competition was at the height in KPA at the moment.
Being told that the competition was in the thickest with many fishing enterprises running headlong for the first prize, he pointed out that a new method needed to be worked out to boost their rivalry.
The General Secretary read the puzzled mind of the officials who were unable to come up with a new method and suggested conferring a trophy and diploma to those with the highest yield of fish.
Learning from the minds of the officials who could hardly guess what a new way of inspiring them with zeal for competition, he asked them if they would award trophies and diplomas to those units which won the competition. When the officials said with excitement that they would be more enthusiastic about the competition, General Secretary again began thinking of how to name the trophy and the diploma.
Looking at the thoughtful officials the General Secretary suggested naming them "Gold sea" patriotic trophy and "Gold sea" patriotic diploma in a sense that the KPA are the pioneers in creating the history of Gold sea.
The officials could not thank the General Secretary enough who personally instituted the trophy and diploma full of patriotism after opening up a new era of Gold sea and honouring the KPA's fishermen as frontline soldiers.
The General Secretary continued to point out that the newly-instituted trophy and diploma should be awarded to the fishing enterprises that would take the first place in the socialist competition in the name of State Affairs Commission He also noted with hearty smile on his face that the trophy and diploma would be permanently owned by three-times winner like in the World Cup Football Championship.
The officials around him burst into laughter which lasted for such a long time as to tell and retell the whole country about the warm love of the respected General Secretary who values and honors the patriotic KPA's fishermen more than anybody else in the world.
In the 4th Meeting of Active Fishermen the highest-yield fishing enterprises were awarded the trophy and diploma of "Gold sea" Patriotism which was newly instituted by the respected General Secretary.
Our seas, blessed with the leadership of respected General Secretary who carries the most intense love for the fatherland and people and fills millions of hearts with high patriotism, will be praised forever as Gold seas.
