In his historic report, the respected General Secretary clarified the goals and immediate central tasks for socialist rural construction and comprehensively clarified all the problems arising in achieving the development of our-style socialist countryside including the issue of vigorously conducting the three revolutions of ideology, technology and culture in the countryside and continuously increasing the country's agricultural production, increasing the state investment in agriculture, radically changing the appearance and environment of the countryside and strengthening Party guidance over all these works.
Every paragraph of the report reflects the steadfast will to push ahead with the rural prosperity and put agriculture of the country on a steady stage in the near future and achieve the rapid development of the socialist countryside of our own style, and the deep intention to bring about an overall prosperity of socialism and accelerate the building of communism by finally settling the rural question.
Our Party's intention to vigorously accelerate the rural prosperity is to put the country's agriculture on a steady upswing stage in the near future and usher in a great new era of making a leap forward in the socialist countryside of our own style.
Today, solving the country's food shortage by developing agricultural production is a serious political issue that determines the destiny of the state, the stability of society and the advance of the revolution, and it is an urgent task for the people to seek the most solution.
And it is an undertaking for the progress and prosperity of society and a historic undertaking for creating a new era of city and county development.
The Workers' Party of Korea set the highest priority to providing the rural people with the excellent living environment unprecedented in the world by building all the rural villages of the country with the taste of socialism and the characteristics of the area concerned vividly and unfolded a strategic crucial plan for its realization.
It is only when all these projects are successfully promoted by vigorously stepping up the rural prosperity that it is possible to turn the country's agriculture into advanced agriculture, achieve stable and sustained growth in agricultural production and radically change the living environment of the rural residents, thus ushering in a great new era in which the rapid development of the socialist countryside of our own style is achieved.
Our Party's intention to vigorously accelerate the rural prosperity is also to accelerate the eventual solution of the rural question, bring about a full-scale prosperity of socialism and hasten the building of communism.
The rural question is a question of peasants and agriculture and a strategic question that must be solved in the whole process of building socialism and communism. Only when the rural question is solved well can it further strengthen the driving force of the revolution, consolidate the material and economic foundations of socialist construction and accelerate the building of communism by steadily consolidating and developing the socialist system.
Under the leadership of the great Party, our socialism is now embarking on a new stage of its development, full-scale prosperity and full-scale development. A radical turn has taken place in the ideological and moral traits of officials, Party members and other working people, and miraculous successes have been made one after another in all fields of social life including politics, the economy, military affairs and culture.

At this juncture the respected General Secretary convened a plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee and provided important guidelines for hastening the final settlement of the socialist rural question by stepping up the rural prosperityand effecting the overall prosperity of Korean-style socialism.
The Korean people are determined to usher in a new era of rapid development of the socialist countryside by realizing the Party's intention at any cost, a new socialist rural civilization in our era and a new world in which the provinces are changing, and the spirit is also high.
The reality convinces us that the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to accelerate the rural prosperity will surely come true in the near future.
