Today our people are kindling fierce flames of creating miracles in 80-day battle of loyalty, a battle that was waged to glorify the 8th Congress of the WPK, as a congress of victors and honor bearing the immortal exploits of the great General who has wisely led our Party and revolution along the ever-victorious road.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Comrade Kim Jong Il was the outstanding leader who strengthened and developed the Workers' Party of Korea into a revolutionary party of Juche and guided the cause of the Juche revolution along the road of victory by faithfully continuing the ideology and cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung."

The greatness of a statesman is displayed by the exploits he has achieved.

Many statesmen have been recorded in history for their achievements but we cannot find such a great man like General Kim Jong Il who has achieved the immortal exploits being admired by the entire world. General Kim Jong Il embodied with genius-like ideological and theoretical wisdom and leading ability has consolidated and developed our Party as a revolutionary Party with strict system of ideology and leadership of the leader, a maternal Party that serves for the masses of the people constituting a harmonious whole with them and an invincible Party with iron discipline and combat efficiency.

First of all, he has consolidated and developed our Party as a revolutionary Party with strict system of ideology and leadership of the leader.

From the early days he has put great efforts on strengthening and developing our Party as a Party of the great leader, a revolutionary Party of Juche both in name and reality.

When he first started working in Party's Central Committee, he formulated the main line of the Party's work from the view of a leader-centered theory and laid guiding principles that can build our Party as a Party of the leader both in name and reality.

The great General put forward an original theory that the leader of the working masses is not simply the individual but a supreme personifier and a top brain that represents demands and opinions of working masses and that he plays a decisive role in a revolutionary struggle by leading the masses of the people.

Having formulated the profound ideology of a revolutionary outlook on the leader as an iron theory just for the first time in history, the great General illustrated the essential points for securing the main core which decides victory or failure in revolutionary struggle and for maintaining the original revolutionary feature of the Party of the leader.

The great General conducted energetic activities with rare ideological and theoretical wisdom and extraordinary eagerness.

He formulated the revolutionary idea of the President as Kimilsungism and saw to it that Kimilsungism could perform as a great guiding ideology of the era of independence.

Under the energetic leadership of the great General, the revolutionary idea of the President has been formulated as Kimilsungism and modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism has been declared as a supreme program of our Party.

A revolutionary working system which directs the Party building and Party activities up to our President' s wishes and wants has been established.

Establishing the system of a unified ideology and leadership of the Party has been intensified continuously and the whole Party has been strengthened as an ideological and organizational integrated whole.

General Kim Jong Il has achieved immortal exploits of strengthening our Party as an invincible and revolutionary Party with strict system of ideology and leadership of the leader and has trained all members of the Party to be unshakable in idea and faith who are always thinking and acting as the great leader intention.

Secondly, the great General has strengthened and developed our Party as a true maternal Party which forms a harmonious whole with the masses and serves for them.

Those days of his leadership on Party building is enriched with noble history that led our Party as the one enjoying absolute support and trust and that forms a harmonious whole with the masses of the people.

Having formulated revolution itself as love and trust upon people, he has blazed a sacred path of building a maternal Party by thoroughly applying it into Party building and activities.

For General Kim Jong Il people were always his master and their demands and opinions were initial points for planning lines and policies of the Party.

We can know his ardent love for people from those facts that he led Party organizations and working officials to serve devotedly for people with a correct viewpoint on them and those popular policies that were executed constantly even in the period of the arduous march and the forced march.

Only under his wise leadership, our Party could put the demands of the people on the top and an absolute basis regarding the working masses as a main root for life and a source of unfathomable strength and those days our people could trust and follow our Party as a lighthouse of their destiny and a genuine mother.

Thanks to the people-first principle of the Party, a lot of monumental structures have been built for welfare of the people and they are full of laughter and happiness and cheers for the WPK. And through the intensive struggle to smash the maneuvers infringing upon the interests of the people, the popular character of our Party continues to be apparent. As our Party succeeds the ardent love for people of General Kim Jong Il, it constantly serves as a maternal Party.

Thirdly, the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il has strengthened and developed our Party as an invincible Party with strong sense of organization and combat efficiency.

The leadership of the Party that leads revolution and construction to a victory is guaranteed by its strong sense of organization and combat efficiency and these are vividly demonstrated in implementing lines and policies of the Party by arousing the working masses into it.

Those tragic events of a collapse of socialism in the previous century are mainly due to the weakness of the leading ability of the parties.

General Kim Jong Il has always put great efforts in improving the system and methods of Party's work and saw to it that it could demonstrate itself as a militant Party with strong sense of organization and combat efficiency and a revolutionary Party that can do everything it once decides.

Only under his seasoned leadership, our Party could thoroughly overcome those old conventional working methods and apply Juche-oriented leading principles and methods into Party building and activities and intensify the political guidance on revolution and construction constantly.

Decisions and instructions of the Party are correctly conveyed from the Party Central Committee to the basic party organizations and an iron-discipline and orders that act as one under the unified leadership of the Party has been firmly established throughout the Party.

This is a genuine feature of our Party which has been strengthened and developed by the great General.

Today, the revolutionary system, orders and a strong discipline have become a cornerstone of our Party that enables it to successfully perform leading abilities and roles.

A climate of accepting the lines of the Party instantly and implementing them thoroughly and a discipline that reports arising problems to the Party and resolves them by getting conclusions of the Party have been firmly established throughout the Party.

Thanks to the wise leadership of General Kim Jong Il, the WPK has developed into a revolutionary party with strong organizing ability and fighting efficiency, creditably fulfilling its leadership mission as the General Staff of the revolution and dynamically advancing, resolutely braving through any challenges of history.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has succeeded the idea and cause of General Kim Jong Il, has wisely led the cause of building the Juche-oriented Party, devoting himself to the development of the WPK.

He convened plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee, meeting of the Political Bureau and other party meetings regularly and further consolidated the mass foundation of the Party by applying the people-first principle.

Under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the strategic position of the DPRK has reached its top and great innovations and miracles have been made in socialist construction thanks to the leadership of the WPK.

Today we are affronted an important task to glorify the exploits of building the Party of the great General and to open up a new stage in socialist construction under the leadership of the Party.

In whatever circumstances, we should build up a socialist power on this land upholding the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un true to the intention of General Kim Jong Il.
