The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:
"We should also train all the students of the junior and middle schools for orphans as stout pillars of the country and reserves of the revolution, so that they can shoulder the future of their country."
One day in February 2017, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly built Pyongyang Junior School for Orphans. Looking over the school for a while, he said with satisfaction that the School for orphans was a nice-looking school. He was full of praise for the work of the Pyongyang City officials in building such a magnificent palace for school-age children in a short span of time, saying it was absolutely perfect and well worth boasting as a monumental building in the future.
Then, he looked round different places of the school equipped with multi-functional and IT facilities in conformity with the requirements of a primary education unit. He also attended a Korean language lesson to learn in detail about the teaching method, the use of teaching aids and the students' cognitive abilities.
That day the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the quality of primary and secondary education should be improved and that only then can the quality of overall education including higher education be improved.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un continued to say that as the period of primary and secondary education synchronise the time when the children's personality is formed, we should educate them well from the beginning.
He added that through primary and secondary education children get prepared for university education and that is why he gives top priority to it.
A year ago, he had visited the newly-built Pyongyang Middle School for Orphans and highly appreciated the conditions and environment for education. And now he looked round the modern and clean Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans. Looking up to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who illustrated the most important point in improving the overall quality of education, the officials of the school were deeply conscious of their great responsibility.
Thanks to the warm care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the schoolchildren are growing up as pillars of the DPRK.
