The Noble World of Love for People

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"General Kim Jong Il did his all for the people, saying that they are heaven and his mentor."

The history of Chairman Kim Jong Il's revolutionary leadership is a noble history of his love for the people, which was associated with his absolute trust in and paternal love for the people.

Saying that the people are the most precious being in the world and the most powerful and resourceful being, Chairman Kim Jong Il regarded it as his lifelong goal and noble idea to defend and realize the interests of the people and devoted his all for the people until the last moments of his life.

One day in December 1998 he met officials and said that officials should find pleasure in doing something good for the people, adding that his joy always lied in the happiness of the people and he would not spare anything for the people's happy and decent lives.

Officials were gripped by a sense of solemn emotion listening to the teachings of the Chairman who was permeated with the spirit of service for the people.

Looking at the officials with deep trust, he said that he had been spending days and nights giving the field guidance to the army, factories and enterprises and therefore he had not had a good sleep, and that he had only short and uncomfortable sleep in the car.

He said earnestly that as he was used to that kind of lifestyle he found it uncomfortable to sleep in the bed, and that the short sleep in the car was the sweet sleep and the only rest which he had.

The peerless great man's words were the teachings to lead officials to fulfill their duty as they were true servants of the people.

As the Chairman had embodied the spirit of service for the people on the highest level, he disclosed his intention to visit the construction site of the Huichon Power Station one day in September 2009, saying that the 150-day campaign would be over the next day.

The officials said that they would like to postpone his visit to the construction site of the Huichon Power Station as the site was far away and the road to it was rugged.

The Chairman said that whenever he left for the field guidance he thought that there were his soldiers in the units of the People's Army and his people in the factories and farms, thus although he had to go on a long and rugged way to visit them, he always felt glad.

He also said earnestly that he was going to visit the construction site of the Huichon Power Station as there were his soldiers and people in the site and that he regarded it as his pride to go on a long and rugged way to visit his people and soldiers.

At that moment, an official said that the distance he travelled on the train for the field guidance that year alone was equal to the distance he had travelled for the past ten years. All the officials were surprised and admired by the official's words and looked up to the Chairman.

One year versus ten years. The Chairman was indeed a peerless great leader who devoted his all for the country.

Solely for the people whom he loved!

Regarding it as the aim and the whole of his life, the Chairman, with warm love and noble devotion, devoted his all to bring happiness to the people throughout his revolutionary leadership in the spirit of service.

That's why he is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people, still giving the eternal warm enthusiasm and love to the people.
