The respected General Secretary visited Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory on July 25, Juche 107(2018), being unmindful of the hottest period of summer.

Saying that foodstuffs of the factory that put production on a normal basis by solving the problem of raw materials by its own efforts spread across the country beyond the range of the province and was highly praised for their high quality as good as those of the central foodstuff factories, which was very good, he added that it should actively compete with others and make a great improvement in production amid the hot climate of following the example of other factories and overtaking them, thus making further achievements in production continuously.

There was an issue pointed out by the respected General Secretary that day, while saying that foodstuffs produced by the factory should be the ones always favoured by people and contribute greatly to the improvement of their diet.

It means that people are strict inspectors and examiners and the key to making incessant improvements of quality lies in their appraisal.

He instructed that the factory should improve production environment in a hygienic and cultured way, make the inspection of quality and supervision about various foodstuffs that had different storing conditions in line with the increase of the variety of products, especially in case of foodstuffs and medicines that had a direct effect on the health and life of people, strengthen the system of product inspection to thoroughly guarantee their quality and hygienic safety, improve and update inspection methods and means.

The clothes of the respected General Secretary who made rounds of workshop one by one were drenched with sweat.

Officials and workers of the factory were moved to tears, looking up to the benevolent face of the respected General Secretary who devoted his all to holding up the factory as well-reputed one loved by people, a model of the foodstuff industry, unmindful of the hottest period of summer.

Indeed, it is thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's devotion to the sake of the people, who is continuing his way for people, burning his heart with the noble intention that the best people in the world should be provided with the best things and products for them should be perfect ones well known to the world that people's pleasure and happiness are brought into full bloom in socialist Korea.
