The Honored Wounded Soldiers' Schools, Set Up in the Flames Of The Fatherland Liberation War

 2026.7.23.

President Kim Il Sung said:

"In order to allow the honoured disabled ex-soldiers and disabled patriots to work in various sectors of the national economy, we should set up schools for them and teach them necessary knowledge and technical skills."

From the first days of the Fatherland Liberation War, President Kim Il Sung was always concerned about how to add glory to the exploits of the heroic soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country and the soldiers who were wounded in battles and how to praise them high.

On March 31, 1951, the President held a consultative meeting of the Cabinet on the issue of setting up honored wounded soldiers' schools.

At the consultative meeting, the President said that if the wounded soldiers and disabled patriots were taught in the school, it would greatly encourage the soldiers of the People's Army and people who were fighting a decisive battle against the enemies. And he put forth several issues arising in setting up the school and took all practical measures for it.

At the end of the meeting, the President stressed again that the wounded soldiers should be appointed in occupations suited to their health and technical functions after the graduation so that they could work and live without inconvenience.

Honored wounded soldiers' schools!

There are many countries and armed forces around the world.

Thanks to the noble revolutionary obligation and comradeship of the President who tried to educate the wounded soldiers and show them off to the world, the school was founded in the flames of the war in Korea, thus the wounded soldiers could continue to keep the flowers of revolution in bloom.
