Fatherly Love Associated With the Aquarium

At Paekhwawon District in Songdowon International Children's Camp situated on the eastern coast of socialist Korea, there is a charming aquarium where campers are so fascinated by its remarkable spectacle that they feel as if they were chained to it.

Every corner in the aquarium that is fully equipped without any flaw is associated with the ardent love for children of the respected General Secretary, who finds the greatest pleasure and boundless glory in hardships for children and devotes his heart and soul into those hardships.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"True to the intentions of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, who treasured and loved the rising generations and the future, we should bring them up into excellent people and make them the happiest in the world. We have nothing to spare for the good of our children who will be the masters of the country in the future."

In May, 2013, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Songdowon International Children's Camp.

That day, he said that it was important to encourage schoolchildren to learn many things and acquire various kinds of knowledge at that camp. He said to discuss if an aquarium located in some place could be moved to the camp and to equip the camp with that aquarium. Therefore the wonderful aquarium that could be admired as one of the best in the world was wholly moved into the Songdowon International Children's Camp and given to the children for a present.

In April, 2014, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Songdowon International Children's Camp again just before the inauguration ceremony. He said that noticeboards on which the commonsense data related to fish was written should be put up with a slight gradient on the surface of the internal walls of the aquarium or on the upper parts of water tanks so that the children could easily seek for the fish respectively, and that in the resting halls and on the corridors standing-type hand-touching computers should be placed so that children could seek for not only the commonsense for fish on those computers but also the directions that they wanted to go in. Like this, he devoted all his energy to the aquarium so that it could be furnished without any slightest flaw.

The aquarium has several floors and a pair of circular stairs. On the first floor, there is gate hall and resting hall, and exhibition area of Korean fish, and area for contacting with sea animals and so on, while the downstairs consist of circular observation window water tank and tunnel water tank, and in the middle of the pair of circular stairs there is a large-sized cylindrical water tank.

The aquarium has aquatic animals that are rare and full of vitality including a loggerhead turtle and several tens of species of sea fish such as sharks, sturgeons and a ray weighing more than a hundred kilograms presented by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. The number of fish in the aquarium exceeds more than 1 000.

An aquarium in a camp!

An aquarium in a camp may be regarded as a minor problem related to the children's extracurricular education, compared with huge and larger-scale tasks to safeguard the national sovereignty and safety of the country and to provide genuine life and happiness for the people.

However, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un regards everything for children as the primary affairs of the Party and the state, and realizes them into brilliant fruition, never permitting any trifle shortcoming nor any sign of impossibility.

Thanks to his ardent love and devotion, the schoolchildren and pupils of the DPRK are preparing themselves to be reliable pillars who will shoulder the future of Korea with brighter and more cheerful appearances.
