Creating a Model of Offshore Farming

A new model base of advanced offshore farming has been successfully built in Phungo-dong area in the city of Sinpho, South Hamgyong Province, under the new regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Our people entrust their all to the Party and stand by it in braving every manner of trial and hardship together with it, so we should provide them as soon as possible with the most comfortable and the happiest life in the world."

At a historic consultative meeting on regional economic development held in July 2024, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth a revolutionary policy of decisively boosting the regional economy by actively exploiting and utilizing all the economic resources and potentials of each region in keeping with its actual conditions. And he made sure that a model of offshore farming was created under the direct guidance of the Party Central Committee and energetically led the whole course of the project through his ceaseless immortal guidance.

He visited the construction site in November 2024. Calling for properly building and managing the Sinpho City Offshore Farm to turn it into a model of offshore farming and propagate its experience across the country, he noted that the state should responsibly provide coastal cities and counties with conditions for revitalizing aquaculture. He stressed repeatedly that in order to implement the Party's regional development policy, it is necessary to create maximum possibilities for the regions to achieve their development, after making scientific calculations on the basis of a comprehensive survey of all resources across the country.

The inauguration of the Sinpho City Offshore Farm, which is a brilliant fruition of his outstanding idea and leadership, is the proud epitome of the creating struggle of our own style which shows the Korean people's will to achieve the centuries-old cause of regional restoration for the simultaneous and balanced development of the whole country and the future changes of all coastal cities and counties.

Offshore farms as modern as the one in Sinpho will be built one after another in all parts of socialist Korea thanks to the warm love of the great father of the people.
