Calling Them Patriotic Scientists

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"We should provide everything necessary for scientists at the highest level possible."

When a success is made by scientists, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is overjoyed at the news, considering it more valuable than anybody else. This moving story is about the scientists, who researched and developed the state-of-the-art bio-pesticides in the DPRK for the first time, were regarded as patriotic ones.

One day in June 2015, respected General Secretary personally gave field guidance to Pyongyang Institute of Biotechnology, having been informed that the scientists of the institute had developed and completed Korean-style bio-pesticides and laid a foundation for normalizing production by means of industrial method.

As for the bio-pesticide, it has been recognized as a pesticide of the 21st century as it has high efficacy absolutely necessary for farming, livestock farming, fruit farming, horticulture and afforestation and has no effect on the human body, soil and ecological environment. Therefore, only a few developed countries in the world monopolized its production technology.

These bio-pesticides were not only developed by our scientists on their own efforts, but also on a high level the germ-free, dust-free and unmanned production so that they could mass-produce them in an industrial way.

Looking around different places of the Institute that day, he got a good understanding of the research and production of bio-pesticides and expressed great satisfaction over the fact that our scientists broke the cutting edge in the field of research and application of biotechnology, the core basic technology in the development of modern science and technology.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the scientists of the Pyongyang Institute of Biological Technology showed in practice how to implement the teachings of the Chairman Kim Jong Il.

He continued to say that the scientists of the institute are the patriotic scientists as they developed the latest biological pesticides with determination that they must carry out without condition the instructions of the Chairman Kim Jong Il, the work for their country and people.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was deeply moved by the meritorious officials and scientists and later he called them as special guests at the venue of the grand festival held in October celebrating the 70-year history of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A patriotic scientist!

Indeed, this is a precious title given only by the respected General Secretary who loved and valued our scientists most.
