The large-scale refrigerating facilities were built in hearty response to the noble intention of the respected General Secretary to provide our people with more fish.
They were fully equipped with advanced facilities such as fish sorting and washing conveyors, flat-plate freezers, freezing storage rooms, forklifts and refrigerator cars for the transport of seafood.
Going round the newly-built refrigerating facilities, he learned in detail about the construction and the refrigeration of seafood.
Highly appreciating their strenuous efforts in building in a short time a breakwater and a wharf as well as the advanced refrigerating facilities with a large capacity, the respected General Secretary said that the People's Army should continue to take the lead in fishing in the future, too.
Looking round at the officials, he said that he had come here to discuss the possibility of supplying fish to baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes. He emphasized that it is the firm determination and will of the Workers' Party of Korea to bring up all the orphans to be successors and pillars of our revolution without anything to envy in the world.
And he personally made a calculation in his notebook about the amount of fish per year in order to feed them 300 grams a day.
His attendants and the officials of the unit were very surprised and greatly impressed. They swallowed hot tears and looked up to him.
The respected General Secretary said that the slogan of the Korean People's Army to take charge of both national defence and socialist construction was excellent, and stressed that the People's Army should take charge of the work of supplying fish to baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes for the whole year. And he issued an order of the supreme commander to organize in the Korean People's Army a fishery station which specializes in supplying fish to baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes across the country.
The officials were excited by the fact that the supreme commander's order, which they had expected to be one related to military affairs, was issued on the spot for the bereaved children.
The respected General Secretary convened a meeting of activists in the fishing sector of the Korean People's Army and highly estimated the exemplary deeds of the fishing sector of the People's Army, which had made a big fish catch, thus carrying out the order of the supreme commander without fail. He also saw to it that the whole country learned from it.
The respected General Secretary entrusted the People's Army that has the spirit of defying the death to carry out the orders of the supreme commander with the important tasks of supplying fish to baby homes, orphanages, primary and middle schools for orphans and old people's homes across the country.
That day, the respected General Secretary chose the site of the fishery station and set the design and construction units, saying that the newly-organized fishery station should be built on the highest level. He also took measures for supplying materials and equipment, recruiting fishermen, providing fishing boats and fishing gear.
And he gave instructions to build the fishery station before coming the Day of the Sun and to start fish supply from the autumn.
The news on the order issued on the spot touched off the hearts of all the service personnel and people of the DPRK.
And on February 3rd, less than a month later, they got to know another impressive story full of his affection for the children.
That day, the respected General Secretary visited Pyongyang Orphanage and showed paternal love and affection to the orphans. He suggested supplying dried persimmon to the children of the orphanages, saying that babies at baby homes would not be able to eat but the children at orphanages would eat it well.
He stressed again that orphanages should be provided dried persimmon on a regular basis.
He continued to say that Anbyon persimmon was famous, and that he was planning to issue the supreme commander's order that the People's Army units stationed where the persimmon was abundant should prepare and supply dried persimmon to the children at orphanages.
Indeed, such an order full of affection for the children was the one that could be issued only by the respected General Secretary, who is a true father of the bereaved children.
In our country creating miracles and feats every day, the history of Juche Korea will shine with such legendary stories that have never been recorded in history.
