The great Juche Idea has no parallel among all of the revolutionary ideas in terms of viability, justice and universality. Anyone aspiring after independence can easily sympathize with and accept it as their own, as it is based on a man-centred world outlook and all the theories and methods are in favour of the popular masses. The glorious history of the Korean revolution which has witnessed proud victory all along under the banner of the Juche Idea and the present reality in which the world is seeking independence more and more day by day under the rays of the Juche Idea prove its validity.
Here is an anecdote showing the excitement of the progressive mankind for this great and profound idea.
In September 1972, journalists from a foreign country got to meet President
The President taught the origin of the Juche Idea logically, easily and convincingly.
The President said that our struggle was difficult and challenging, as we had to solve everything by ourselves and think of all the lines and methods for revolution with our own efforts. He added that we have gained valuable experience and lessons that cannot be bartered for anything, and we have realized that if the simple and ordinary working masses are awakened in a revolutionary way, we can display great strength and carry out the revolution by our own efforts, no matter how unfavourable and difficult the conditions may be.
Journalists were completely fascinated by his teachings that he taught them the truth of the revolution so easily.
The President went on to say that it is the basis of the Juche Idea that man is the master of everything and decides everything, that transforming nature and society is for man, and that man is the most precious thing in the world as man is the most powerful being.
After receiving his instructions, the journalists cheered and expressed boundless reverence for him with ardent applause.
The answers he gave to the questions raised by the journalists that day was published as the immortal classic work "On Some Problems of Our Party's Juche Idea and the Government of the Republic's Internal and External Policies".
When the work was published, voices praising him who brightly illuminated the road ahead of mankind with the Juche Idea were heard from all over the world.
"He established the Juche philosophy and proved that there is no limit to man's thinking and inquiry.
There is no genius comparable to the President in his infinite thinking. ... The Juche philosophy is great, the man who founded the Juche philosophy is great, and his wisdom is also great as he teaches the Juche philosophy so clearly. Juche philosophy is a philosophy of hurrah and hurrah that the world should praise with hurrah."
