It is General Secretary's noble idea that patriotism comes from the mind loving even a single piece of gravel or a plant as the treasure of the country and that only the man who values everything on this land can truly cherish ideological feeling of patriotism in their mind.

"One's motherland is not simply a place where one was born and grew up; it should be a place which guarantees a genuine life for the people and eternal happiness for posterity, which in turn is assured by the leader."
There is nothing more precious than the motherland in the world.
However, not everybody can easily cherish the true and ardent love for their motherland.
Only the great man, who engraved the preciousness of his motherland in his heart and values even a tree and a plant as the part of his body, can serve his powerful motherland with great practice and self-scarifying devotion.
One day in April, General Secretary sat together with some officials and told them that a revolutionary must always keep his native home in his mind and the love for his native home is indeed the love for his country. He continued that he loves our country as his native home where he was born and grew up.
He said again to the officials as they were wrapped in solemn feeling impressed by his ardent love:
I will devote my all to glorify my motherland, Korea by hastening the victory of the cause of Juche revolution true to the great General
Our country is leaping forward along the road of victory and prosperity by dint of his noble patriotism asking to be no more than a handful of soil for the giant tree－motherland, his noble view of life wanting to be no more than a grain of sand to be scattered on the road for the younger generation, and his earnest fleeing and noble devotion that the motherland would advance 10 years forward if we struggle for a year.
The proud reality of our country teaches all the people in this world: there is nobody who loves his country more ardently than General Secretary
