The Congratulatory Message "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong" Presented with Boundless Reverence

 2023.10.19.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Anyone who ever met our leader, although they might have different ideologies and political views, expressed boundless admiration and respect for him, having been attracted by his noble personality."

Every single head of states and governments and party leader from many countries over the world who ever met President Kim Il Sung felt boundless reverence for him.

At the International Friendship Exhibition House, there displays a present from Isibasi Masasi, the former chairman of central executive committee of Japanese Socialist Party who was completely attracted by President Kim Il Sung expressing his reverence for the President.

It is the congratulatory message in frame "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong". These five letters mean that the sun is never moved by wind, in other words, that the Juche Idea created by the President never changes and it is immortal despite any trend. There was quite a reason why a famous Japanese personality presented President the congratulatory message "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong" with his sincerity.

He visited our country for the first time as the leader of the Japanese Socialist Party delegation in September Juche 73(1984). During his short stay, he couldn't help feeling excited after meeting the President as many as 4 times. The confidence that the President is the peerless great man who led the Korean and world revolution to a victory with his far-sighted wisdom gripped his heart.

At that moment Isibasi Masasi was reminded of the saying of a Japanese personality who said that one would never know the President's greatness completely unless he met him personally, and he totally agreed with him.

He became more determined while he was looking around grand monumental edifices such as the Tower of Juche Idea. Therefore, he decided to present a writing which cherished his impression and admiration to the President after he returned from our country. He tried writing both a record of impressions and an ode but he didn't complete either of them after all. Because he didn't like any types of writing.

After several months of thinking over, at the beginning of February Juche 74 (1985), he at last came up with an idea that he could express his termless adoration in lines of a poem.

Thus, he wrote the congratulatory message "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong", recalling his deepest impression on our country. He had this writing written by a noted 100-year old Japanese calligraphist though he could write it himself. It is because in Japan, there is a tradition of expressing highest tribute through macrobians The 100-year old calligraphist, who had known the reason why he was going to present the congratulatory message "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong" to the President, wrote the writing "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong" on a pure white paper with brush and ink in a tidy room.

The congratulatory message "Phung-Chwi-Il-Bu-Dong" shows boundless admiration and respect of a famous Japanese personality for the President who created the immortal Juche Idea and, with its shining rays, led the Korean and world revolution to a victory.

In truth, President Kim Il Sung was the peerless great man whom everyone, regardless of ideology and political views, respected and looked up to for his gifted ideology and theory, wise leadership, benevolent personality and high moral repute.
