Comrade Kim Jong Suk, who was conducting the revolutionary activities in Chongjin upholding the cause of founding party, country and army put forth by the great leader, left the lodgings to attend the social gathering.
At that time, she was not well due to a lot of fatigue.
Knowing well about the fact, the women comrades made an earnest request that she shouldn't overstrain herself, but stay at the loadings only that day to take care of herself.
She left for the meeting place for sure, saying that she must go for such an important meeting to explain the idea for building the country put forth by the great leader even though she was not well.
The place for the social gathering was the house of one official who was working in the city people's committee, had 2 rooms connected with opened sliding door full of people.
When they greeted her, she looked around them kindly and praised them for their hard-working in the people's committee.
One official said that it was the greatest honor for them to meet her and offered her to tell them the story of fighting against the Japanese imperialists first.
She led the talk to grasping the work in the people's committee in the natural atmosphere, offering to talk about the building of the political power rather than about her story because there gathered a lot of officials of the people's committee on that day.
Officials explained in detail that the work of people's committee was not going well due to the maneuvers of "right and left" opportunists and their evil aftereffects in relation to the matter on the building of the political power.
Carefully listening to them, she said that after the liberation to build what kind of political power was an important problem related to the future destiny of the country and nation, and continued as follows;
"The great General put forward the policy on establishing the democratic people's republic that suits the concrete situation of our country and the need of the masses of people. We should struggle to build the democratic people's republic, the genuine people's government."
She said with deep emotion that we had rich struggling experience with which we could build the genuine people's government on the liberated land: the great leader had put forward the line of the people's revolutionary government and established the true people's power in guerrilla bases, and the people's revolutionary government which had been established in guerrilla bases had enforced the democratic reforms and popular policies.
She told with vivid examples about the story that the people in guerrilla bases, who had felt the value of life thanks to the policies of people's revolutionary government, had fought bravely against the Japanese imperialists.
She continued to say.
"The line on the building of the democratic people's republic put forward by the great General is the revolutionary and democratic line on the building of the people's power which really champions and represents the people's interest, for it inherits the tradition of the people's revolutionary government established in the Guerrilla bases. Now, some people argue for building the ‘People's Republic' having the capitalist character, or a ‘proletarian government' having socialist character right away, but these are not only all the fabulous arguments but also the attempts to lead our revolution in danger.
In support of the line on the building of the genuine people's government put forward by the great General, we should strengthen the local organs of the state power."
She said that she knew that officials there had started to organize the local people's committee, stabilize the people's life and reconstruct the plants and enterprises, and expressed her satisfaction with the establishment of the people's power on the liberated land which the anti-Japanese guerrillas had desired while fighting in mountains, and the creation of the new life of people.
Hearing her emotional story, the women comrades and the officials were deeply moved.
How much they had longed for the fatherland liberation and how much blood they had shed to win the people's power!
After a while, she said that the officials of the people's committee should be faithful servants of the people who would champion and represent the people's true intention and interest upholding the policy of building a new country of the great General, and put forward the immediate task with which the officials of people's committee were faced.
"In order to establish the democratic people's republic, we should rally the masses. We should form the democratic national united front embracing the various strata of democratic forces such as a large number of peasants, intellectuals and conscientious capitalists etc. under the leadership of the working class, and on its basis, we should build the people's power.
Only this type of political power can be not only the powerful weapon which can be used to build the prosperous independent and sovereign state, but also can be the patriotic and popular political power which will be able to struggle for the interests of the broad popular masses.
Your duty is really important in building the true people's government on the liberated land.
You should further reinforce and strengthen the people's committee and expose and purge pro-Japanese elements and national traitors who are lurking in the people's committee.
I believe that you will try your best to establish the democratic people's republic, the true people's government which represents the interests of the whole Korean people upholding the policy on the building of the people's power put forward by the great General

Through her speech, the participants in the social gathering could have a deep understanding of the historic root of the people's power which was going to be built on the liberated land, and made the firm determination to turn out into the struggle to build the true people's government upholding the policy on the building of the people's power put forward by the great leader Comrade
Actually, the social gathering was the meaningful occasion which was of great significance in encouraging the whole people in the liberated fatherland as well as the officials of the people's committee of Chongjin city to turn out into the struggle to build the true people's government upholding the policy on the building of the people's power put forward by the great leader.
