In Kangson, where the legendary Chollima was born, the symbol of the heroic spirit of Korean people who kindled the flames of the great revolutionary upswing on the debris and ashes in the postwar period, there is Chollima Tile Factory, a leading base for producing building materials, which is achieving a steady rate of production on a high level as if it is demonstrating the might of self-development.

This factory is imbued with tearful devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who visited the factory and made great efforts to provide the workers with better working conditions and living environment regardless of the scorching heat of midsummer.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"We should regard it as an iron rule to respect the people, defend their destiny and give the highest and absolute priority to their interests and comfort."

In August, Juche 103(2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Chollima Tile Factory which embodies the revolutionary exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

August is known as the hottest days of the year and, to make matters worse, it was so hot that people could get soaked with sweat even in the shade that day.

However, coming into the factory with broad smile on his face, he highly appreciated the pure and noble loyalty of the factory workers, looking at the mosaic paintings built by the officials and workers with their determination to hold Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem through generations.

Then, he personally named the factory "Chollima Tile Factory", noting that they should give full play to the indomitable fighting spirit of the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class, which was displayed during the great Chollima upsurge in the postwar period.

Then, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un went round the adhesive workshop, the tile production workshop, the digital color spray printing room, the tile exhibition and other parts of the factory to learn in detail about the production and development of new products and moved on to the production site.

As it was the hottest time of the day when the respected General Secretary was looking round the factory, the production site was literally as hot as in an oven.
