Nano magnetic ferric oxide and antineoplastic are together enveloped in macromolecular polymer, and then it is directly induced to targeting organs under the external magnetic fields, so we can concentrate antineoplastic on tumor area to increase concentration of drugs and decrease systematic toxicity and side-effects.

We put appropriate amount of nano magnetic ferric oxide which prepared from ferrous sulfate and ferric sulfate by using coprecipitation method and thiotepa in starch-water solution, dispersed in ice by ultrasonic waves, and then put this mixture in oil with appropriate concentration of Span80, again dispersed in ice by ultrasonic waves, let form microemulsion.
As we put Microemulsion in acetone with 0.1% Tween80, agitate at the speed of 1500rpm. The carriers are collected by centrifuging, again washed two times in acetone. We examined influence of several factors on preparation of carrier based on enveloping efficiency.
Rational preparation conditions of nano magnetic thiotepa carrier which is prepared using emulsifying homogeneous method by ultrasonic waves are as follows.
Concentration of starch is 20%, concentration of Span is 2.0%, concentration of ferric oxide is 1.5%, rate of weigth of starch:drug is 4:1, rate of volume of oil-water phase is 0.02, emulsifying time by ultrasonic waves is 2min and its average enveloping efficiency is 29.36%.
Nano magnetic thiotepa carrier has good dispersity and high stability at storage.
