On November 14th, Juche37(1948), despite of his busy schedule to take care of the national affairs, the President met Zhou Bao zhung, an anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr of China, who visited the DPRK with his delegation party.
Zhou Bao zhung and his party presented the President with a thousand bags of rice which had been donated by the Korean compatriots living in the Northeast China with their joy and happiness on hearing the news that he was elected the head of the DPRK as well as the national pride and dignity of being overseas citizens. And they wished the President to make an efficient use of the rice.
Zhou Bao zhung was well aware that the amount of rice was too small in comparison with the selfless support of the President to the Northeast Chinese revolution, but he also knew about the difficult situations of the newly founded DPRK and thought in his own way that the President would send the rice to a field where he attached the greatest importance wondering what that field was.

The members of the delegation and Zhou Bao zhung were surprised at the noble comradely obligation and the outlook on rising generations of the President who devoted such a great love for the children and students of the revolutionary martyrs with noble revolutionary obligation.
They eagerly hoped that the President would spend some rice at home, but he sent all the rice to the school and university. So 600 bags of rice were sent to Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and 400 bags to
To Zhou Bao zhung and the members of the delegation, who were surprised and excited, the President requested in an earnest voice to meet the children and students on his behalf, and tell them that they should study well and carry on the lineage of their parents who had passed away in the fighting against the enemy.
Indeed, the noble revolutionary obligation, comradeship and warm love for the rising generations shown by the President, who devoted parental affection to the children of the revolutionary martyrs, are the pure and ardent love and affection that no one in the world can follow.
